  1. Sounds like a pretty solid concensus from people with actual experience. Thanks everyone!
  2. Great pic- gotta be eastern Sierras. My dream set-up.
  3. I know I've often tended to fall in love too easily, and darn it now I've done it again. Her name is Ollie, and I haven't met her in person yet, but I've been stalking her from my computer. Hoping to meet her in 2024. Thanks to all of you contributing to my delinquency while providing useful information about my target. 🤩
  4. Thanks very much John- I was afraid of that, but I think I'd still be happy with the LE1. Its usually just me and my Boxer dog. The AHC was partially converted to LC suspension, but I'm adding LC springs, torsion bars and shocks. Yes, I've purchased everything already- just got to get the work done. Also, I have checked out IH8MUD- lots of great sharing of info going on there. I read posts from 100 series owners who are towing at more than 6500 GVWR- some without problems, others with fuel pump issues going up steep grades. I've been hoping I could do the Elite II because I also often have my son with me- he's 6' and 230 lbs. He gets the queen bed in my Super C, and I sleep in the recliner.🙂

  6. Newbie here- so new, I don't have my Ollie yet, but based on research I'm sold on this brand. I recently bought a 2006 LX470 with a GVWR of 6500 lbs. Wondering if I can tow an Elite II by keeping payload to 1000 lbs, or if I should just go with the smaller Elite. Thanks for your advice.
