mehim
Hi everyone and hope everyone is doing well and having a great summer. Some of you may remember my husband and I as the owners of our seasonal nudist campground in Iowa. We just took the jump and purchased our 2nd location in Minnesota, and we are going to turn this run down / outdated campground into our next nudist campground. Unlike our first campground, we are required to develop some of our sites into weekender sites and the remainer being seasonal sites. Our fear is that the weekender sites will remain empty, and we are trying to convince the county to allow all of the sites to be seasonal. Naturally you Oliver camper owners are going to be more of a weekend camper so we thought we would throw out the question, (1) Would you ever try camping at a nudist campground? (2) Would you be more inclined to camp at a clothing optional campground than a nudist campground? If you want to help us out, let us know your thoughts. We could be completely wrong. Feel free to ask us anything you would like and hope to hear from you.
Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted August 27 Moderator+ Share Posted August 27 I don't think of Oliver owners as your standard run of the mill camper owners. It's been my experience to think of Oliver owners predominantly as Travelers rather than Weekenders. We didn't buy our trailer to drive to the lake and spend the weekend. Personally, we tend to leave for several months at a time and may cover many thousands of miles rarely spending more than two or three nights in any one place before moving on. I know others that travel in a similar fashion but may stay longer in one place than we typically do.
