A/C not visible on Truma CP Plus screen (works w/ remote)

If you’re not connected to shore power the AC will not show up on the cp plus screen unless you turn the inverter on, with the inverter on it will show the “heater” and “AC” option.

Shore power and water heater shows, no A/C on screen.

A/C works with remote.

Data cable ?

Hard reset ?

Our CPPlus also lost connection to AC. Tracked the issue to a RJ45 coupler located inside above the air diffuser. They used it to connect the short cable from the rooftop to a long cable to CPPlus. The cable and coupler and wires needed secured to eliminate movement at the coupler. I used electrical tape around the coupler and then silver tape to secure the wire and coupler. 
To remove diffuser pull off both side intakes where filters are and remove six bolts and the connection to IR receiver.

I believe there is another data cable plug connection in the upper unit but fortunately I didn’t have to go to the roof

Yes, I had this glitch when my trailer was new.  While its true that you have to have the inverter on when not connected to shore power, this happened to me with the inverter on or off (and not connected to shore power).  Could only turn on the AC via the remote.  The wiring to my CPPlus was fine.  I took it to a Truma authorized service center and the AC had been wired with some wires reversed at the AC unit itself.  After this fix it reappeared and worked fine at the CPPlus.
