Hi everyone,

I am in the market for a new camping chair and could really use some advice before I buy one. My old chair has finally given up after a few camping trips so I have been spending some time reading reviews through trusted sources, watching videos  and comparing the most recommended options.

After looking through expert recommendations and Amazon's top rated camping chairs, I keep coming back to these two:

Amazon Best Camping Chairs:
https://www.amazon.com/Best-Top-Rated-Camping-Chairs/zgbs/sporting-goods/3401641

YETI Trailhead Collapsible Camp Chair

https://www.amazon.com/YETI-Trailhead-Collapsible-Chair-Charcoal/dp/B0842C9RKS/?th=1

From what I have read, it's extremely comfortable, feels very solid and seems like it would last for years. The only thing giving me pause is the price and whether it's really worth spending that much.

Helinox Chair One (re) High-Performance Camping Chair (1.97 lbs)

https://www.amazon.com/Helinox-Chair-High-Performance-Camping-Coyote/dp/B0DMP3BGNK/

This one looks like a great option if you want something lightweight and compact. I like that it's easy to pack for camping and hiking, but I'm wondering if it's comfortable enough to sit around the campfire for a few hours.

I am  mainly looking for a chair that's comfortable, durable, easy to carry, and something I won't have to replace anytime soon. I mostly go car camping, but I also take shorter hiking trips a few times each year.

If you have used used either of these chairs, or have another favorite from the Amazon top rated list, I do really appreciate hearing your experience before I make my final decision.

Thanks  in advance

Just wondering... did Amazon remove the requirement that their affiliates must state that they make commissions on any shared links? I think it might also be an FTC law to do so, too...

I ask because I don't see such a statement in your post.

Chairs take up a lot of storage space, I went with these a few seasons ago and very pleased. Comfortable enough for these old bones! I have two chairs with individual storage bags. Better price may be found, Dometic website pics for illustration. Available on Amazon.
