Moderators mountainborn Posted July 19, 2008 Moderators Posted July 19, 2008 I know that SCUBARX, Steve & Talli, are SCUBA divers. And the Mountainborn's, Larry & Betty are SCUBA divers also. Are there other water sports enthusiasts on these forums ? Here is one of our other water sports past times while at the lake. He, he, yeh, we really do other stuff besides catch catfish at the lake ! I would rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth 08' Oliver Legacy Elite HULL NUMBER 0003(sold)
Moderators mountainborn Posted July 19, 2008 Author Moderators Posted July 19, 2008 Capn' Al has to adjust the boat's heading to compensate for another boat that enters the inlet that we are tubeing in, causing slack in the tow ropes after the momentum slings the riders up past the tow boat. He narrowly avoids a bad situation for the riders by slacking the throttle to scrub off the tubes speed. > I would rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth 08' Oliver Legacy Elite HULL NUMBER 0003(sold)

tumbleweed Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 We're waiting for you two and Pete and the Cavanaughs to arrive at Crystal River!!!
technomadia Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Both Chris and I are water adventurers too. We're both SCUBA certified (although, neither of us has dove in a while) and enjoy kayaking, white water rafting, swimming, tubing, sailing, boating, etc. I look forward to taking our Oliver to places to enjoy all of these things. - Cherie
dougi Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 I love canoeing and kayaking. In my younger days, I was outings chairman for the Houston Canoe Club, but it's been several years since I've paddled. Doug
herm Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Though we aren't SCUBA divers (yet, anyway), we consider ourselves half-amphibian too. We take our 16.5' jetboat to a nearby lake probably every other weekend. We also try to make it down to the Caribbean every year to go sailing on a bareboat charter. Our last trip was in January to the islands of St. Martin, Anguilla and St. Barts...just the two of us. What a beautiful part of the world!
