bradbev Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I bought the two camera package and had issues with the front camera. Richie was able to resolve the problem, but when I switch over to it, there's about a 5 second delay before the video appears. The back camera comes alive quickly. Is this normal?
Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted September 18, 2017 Moderator+ Posted September 18, 2017 Brad, I would expect that to be normal since you're dealing with two transmitters. One in the camera and another in the WVRX1 Digital Wireless Receiver Box. As an aside, I was going to start another thread along this line, so I ask you indulgence in a slight hijack. For those of you that have this two camera setup, I have an extra WVOM713-MO auto pairing 7" monitor like the one you use in your tow vehicle that I would like to sell. As I understand it, some folks move their monitor to the inside of the trailer at night so they can see what's going on in the front of their trailer. PM me if interested. I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.... Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved dogs Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4
mjrendon Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 To make a long story short, I have one installed camera on the rear of the Elite II as well as a new monitor and an extra camera. My question is should I bother installing the second camera, and if so, where do you recommend I place it? Thank you, Mike
hobo Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Jut as an aside: When we ordered our trailer (hull #414), although we wanted a front and rear camera setup, Oliver no longer offered the front camera. Did I miss something? Hobo 2018 Elite II, Hull #414 (the very last 2018 produced). Trailer name "2 HOBOS" . 2018 F250 4X4 Crew Cab, 6.7L diesel
mjrendon Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Hobo, I can't really say if you are missing something here since I only have the single rear view camera. It seems like it would be handy to have a second camera for backing up to the hitch. Rather than starting a new thread, I revived this older one, in the hopes that I could find out if there still was an option to mount a second camera. Mike
OllieOOP Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I have LE2 hull 209 which was made in Feb 2017. It is equipped with dual cameras. The rear facing camera works consistently. Great, as my “rear view mirror it does what I wanti it ty do
