dusty Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I would put the big dinette in permanent bed mode. But I see the Oliver is 6'6" wide outside. So inside is how wide? I'm 5'11". Seems like the bed would be a little short. What say you owners? Dusty
Oliver Travel Trailers1571927901 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 The rear is desighned to hold a regular full size mattress. It's 74" x 56". Lot's of our customers keep the rear bed in place like you mentioned. Hope that helps. Robert
dusty Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 Thanks, Bob. I'm getting closer. Buying a truck today or tomorrow.
Moderators SeaDawg Posted February 25, 2008 Moderators Posted February 25, 2008 My husband is about your height, and the Oliver bed is very comfortable for both of us. No problem with headroom inside the camper, either. Because the tanks are mounted low on the frame, there's no problem for him with headroom in the bath/shower combo. At 5'4", I have no problem in any camper or boat . Aside from the extra headroom/storage area, we think the low mounted tanks give us a nicer tow. Water weight is down low, and spread evenly. Even towing with the car instead of the truck, we barely noticed the trailer was there.
