30 amp shore and generator outlet

Question.  I never had a extra 30 amp outlet for a generator on any trailer I’ve had.  Are both 30amp receptacles tied into the main panel? Does the 30 amp generator receptacle have a cut off switch.  If they are both connected to the main panel with no cut off switch. When you ran a generator would that back feed to the shore 30amp receptacle making that live. And visa versa. Hope i asked this in the simplest way possible.

If your trailer is equipped with both receptacles, then there should be a transfer switch wired between them to prevent the scenario you’ve described.

I didn’t see any diagram that showed this. I would think the 2019 elite II would have this in the system.
