Southbird401
I was able to install 2 Battleborn GC3’s in the existing battery compartment. (2016 Oliver Legacy Elite II). I replaced 4, 6 volt batteries. The battery tray had to come out. The new batteries are mounted on a board that can be unscrewed and slid out if necessary for some reason in the future. The exchange tripled the power and halved the battery weight. For some reason photos are always upside down on import is there a solution? 2016 Oliver Legacy Elite II. 2021 Ford F250 Diesel
John E Davies
I do not have a clue but flipped it for you. I am hazy about how you mounted the board to the compartment, some additional (upright) pics would be helpful. The board appears to be regular particle board... Are you aware of its unsuitability for a structural mount? Especially in a potentially wet area? https://www.livspace.com/in/magazine/materials101-particle-board-vs-plywood John Davies Spokane WA 3 SOLD 07/23 "Mouse": 2017 Legacy Elite II Two Beds, Hull Number 218, See my HOW TO threads: Tow Vehicle: 2013 Land Cruiser 200, 32” LT tires, airbags, Safari snorkel, Maggiolina Grand Tour 360 Carbon RTT. Southbird401
Thanks for flipping it. We will see how the particle board holds up. Time will tell. 2016 Oliver Legacy Elite II. 2021 Ford F250 Diesel
