Hi all,

Though I did not get an Oliver, I do hope to see some at the fgrv gathering at Bullards Beach Oregon. Is that possible? :?:

Sacsun,

Yes, as Pam and Allen have said, Elizabeth and I will be in site A53 at NOG. We would be happy to meet you and show you our Oliver, if you would like. It's the twin bed configuration. In addition to our two Olivers at NOG, I believe there is a third, owned by Charlie and Rose, in site C40.

It should be a lot of fun. From the latest count, it appears that there will be 107 molded fiberglass travel trailers there!

Wolf (my dog) and I will be in B 31 (assuming I can back the thing up :D ), along with my son and his 3 daughters. I had a practice session in a nearby shopping center parking lot, and managed not to damage anything! I got an Escape 17 and with airbags and an equalizer hitch from it to my Toyota Sienna, so going forward is becoming easier.

I would be delighted to check out the Olivers. Jim and his wife brought one to Sacramento where I saw them in the "flesh". They have a lot of nice features and are well constructed.

However, the Escape was a better fit for me, and I am very happy with it. :)

Now, I'm trying to make sure I don't forget anything, as I will be there a couple of days earlier. This, (other than the trip down from Canada, where the Escape is made) will be my first lengthy venture out. The Siskiyou pass decent is the major towing hurdle, the balance should be smooth sailing.

Again, I'm looking forward to this event and meeting you all.

Do NOT confuse the Oregon Gathering with the NOG. The NOG, is the Northern Oregon Gathering and is held in the spring and fall. The OREGON GATHERING is in Bandon, along the SOUTHERN Oregon coast in JULY.

I knew you knew this, just wanted to clear the air for the less initiated.

Obviously I didn't.

Yes, the Oregon Gathering is tons of fun! Elizabeth and I had a blast last year.

12ladyblue, I gather that you will be there. Come by our site (A53) and introduce yourself, if you would like. It is always nice to meet those who post on the Oliverforums.

Thank you 12ladyblue for helping us uninitiated folks. I'd been trying to figure out what the hey a NOG was for the past week. Really wish there was some way Tali and I could be there, we came to California this past October, gone about 3 weeks. That's a loooong way from Mississippi. Have fun and post some pics for all us that are stuck at home.
