Help with TV

I discovered that the 12V power cord to the TV had overheated and destroyed the end with the fuse that plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet. I spliced onto the old connector a new fuse plug with negative results. I tested the cigarette outlet and it works fine. Either the TV is bad or the little L shaped connector is bad. I called Jensen and they said they do not support this TV anymore and that the connector on the new ones is a different size.

 

My question is: Will a new Jensen 19 inch TV fit the original TV holder? Has anyone replaced their original TV and with what and how.

If you are referring to the Jensen model JE1912LEDWM, it should fit just fine. This unit is 18 inches wide and 12 inches high. It is a little over 2 inches wider and about 2 inches narrower than the units currently in our Oliver's. The mount is a standard VESA 100mm x 100mm (same as ours). I went out and measured mine and I think it would look good. A quick internet search will find you the best price.
