  1. Thanks for the input guys! I will likely reach out to a solar installer to see about upgrading the wiring on the zamp port and potentially installing a charge controller inside the camper for that system. As mentioned here the ability to track the sun at a better angle allows those 400 watt panels to pull 50-100 more watts than the roof mounted solar on the camper. 2 days ago I used it with my anker f2600 solar generator and was able to pull up to 325 watts for quite a while in morning sun.
  2. Does anyone know how many watts i can add to the system via the auxiliary solar port on the street side of the trailer? I have a 400 watt panel set up for my anker solar generator. I am curious if I could just use a charge controller in line and hook into the system? Or are the wires not rated for that much current? 2022 elite 2 with 400 watt roof solar and 360ah lithium batteries. Thanks in advance for any info.
  3. Thank you so much. I will look into what I need to do in order to change that setting. I do have the xantrex inverter, so it should just be a matter of figuring out how to change settings!
  4. I am going to be moving from a 2008 toyota tundra to a 2017 f250 for my tow vehicle. I already intend to add a dc-dc charging system for while I am towing. But I am now moving into the camper full time as I will be traveling for my new job. I would like to install a converter that allows the batteries to charge on a single smaller generator instead of 2 hondas in parallel. Im not sure if this is doable but I would appreciate any input.
  5. I spent the last week traveling my home state of wyoming looking at properties to potentially buy. I spent the evenings comfortably in my Ollie and got to spend time in some of my favorite places here. I thought I would share photos.
  6. I would love to get a group together and go up to glacier. I went by myself last summer and the hiking isnt as much fun by yourself.
  7. I think lander would be an excellent spot for a get together. Sinks canyon has a really nice paved trail along the river, and the mountains have plenty of options for more fun and challenging rides.
  8. Hey all, I purchased a 2022 legacy elite 2 last summer hull number 1018. So far I have used it about 40 nights and have made a few small adjustments to make it as comfortable as possible. The reason for my post is i would like to go to a rally or do a tour with some other owners but have noticed a majority of other ollie owners are significantly older than i am. My vision would be to tour Wyoming, Montana, or Utah and make stops centered around mountain biking, dirt biking, rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking/fishing. I guess this is a feeler to see how many of us would be interested in something like that. I hope everyone has a good week and those on the road have safe travels.
