  1. I see your Phoenix...so am I. Have you tried Credt Union West, either in Glendale or Peoria?
  2. Is there a way we can make this thread a "stickey", so we can keep it on the first page all the time. I refer to it quite often, trying to convince my DH into buyig one, and I have to always search hi and low for it. Thanks...Sandie
  3. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the Oliver is formaldahyde free. Other manufacturers use it, and the gasses, especially in the new ones, really get to me bad. I have asthma and just can't handle it.
  4. Now that you have been using your Oliver trailers, is there any option you wish you would have gotten or any changes you would now make if you had to do over again? We are seriously considering one in the near future so I would just like to know if you are completely satisfied with what you chose in your unit or if you would change some things.
  5. OOOOHHHHH...I wanna see. Where do you get a trailer life magazine?
  6. Unfortunately, my parents were not the camping type, but my dh and I have had an RV for 6 years now and before that we tent camped for many years. I cannot ever imagine not owning some kinda of RV. I just love it and am ready to go at a moments notice.
  7. I have to agree with Stuart. We have a Chevy 2500HD Duramax/Allison 4x4 crew cab and we get 14 to 16 mpg when were towing our 7000# trailer behind us. We had gas tow vehicles before and we will never go back.
  8. That is a good question CarolAnn. I'd like to know too. That is why we don't travel that far east...not that we don't want to, but there are really terrible storms out that way. I'll stay here in AZ. Nothing seems to happen...it's safe and there are beautiful mountains, lakes and streams to camp near.
  9. Yes...I am hoping that it was our last blast of winter so our beautiful campgrounds up on the rim will dry out and be open by the end of April. It's been a crazy winter for sure, but AZ really did need it.
  10. YUCK...I'm so glad I don't have to drive in that anymore. Originally from northern Ohio, but now living in sunny Arizona. BTW...what did you think of Arizona???
  11. Lisa...when you decide to take a trip to the White Mountains, please contact us. We would be happy to meet you guys up there. Then my hubby can get another look at your Oliver. I'm so bummed...I really wanted one. My regular e-mail is sassychimom@aol.com or you can e-mail a private at Open Roads forum. I am 19sandie54 on that one and I'm usually always on the travel trailer forum. See ya there.
  12. Hi Lisa...I read your responses to RV-Bella on the "Open Roads" forum and was really happy that someone who actually has experienced camping in the Oliver had answered her questions. I really think she is interested and hope she gets to see one soon. We are also in AZ...Mesa to be exact and have spent alot of time in Lk Havasu, but we usually take our travel trailer up to the White Montains or Colorado somewhere. I was so impressed with the Oliver and would buy one in a heartbeat but my hubby wants a fiver. We currently have a 24' with a slide, which is plenty big for the 2 of us. I really envy you all that own one. Happy Camping to you...Sandie
  13. Hey Northwoods...I have told so many people about the Oliver trailer on other sites. There is a woman looking for a small easy to use trailer whose husband has some medical condition and can no longer drive their Class A. She lives in Colorado and really wants to view one and seems very interested. Anyone own one out that way?
  14. Hi...My name is Sandie and I have seen the Olivers at the RV show in Phoenix, AZ. I thought they were the cutest trailer ever. I think I would've ordered one right there, but DH is holding back. He wants bigger than what we have now and I want Oliver. Maybe someday I can hopefully talk him into one. I hope you don't mind if I still lurk on the site.
