  1. We have the nightstand that has the lower door going into the basement. While set up camping everything stored in the basement is removed (hoses, etc) and the litter box is put in, cleaned daily from the outside opening. During transit the litter box sits on the floor behind passenger seat. Works great for us. Perhaps a fall foliage trip in NY and NH and then down to friends in NC.
  2. Well, we’ve had many great week or weekend trips since getting our Ollie in Sep 2021 but we just returned home from our first two month traveling and fell in love with our Ollie all over again! What a wonderful way to go on adventures! Our first day was Wed April 10th and we arrived back this past Fri June 7th. Way too many photos to upload but will try to insert a few. Our stops included: 1) Keystone State Park, Sand Springs, OK - visiting family and grandkids. 2) Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas 3) Chupadero RV Park, San Antonio, NM. 4) Fool Hollow State Park, Show Low, AZ. 5) Lost Dutchman State Park, AZ. 6) White Tank Mountain Regional Park, AZ. 7) Dead Horse Ranch State Park, AZ. 8) Desert View Campground, South rim of Grand Canyon. 9) Mesa Verde RV Resort, CO. 10) Love’s RV Stop, Walsenburg, CO. 11) Historic Lake Scott State Park, KS. 12) Wilson State Park, KS. 13) Milford Lake State Park, KS. 14) Eisenhower State Park, KS. 15) Cracker Barrel, Independence, MO. 16) Dr Edmund A Babler Memorial State Park, Chesterfield, MO We set up camp, relaxed, looked at historical sites, biked, visited friends and relatives, and were wondering why we were ending it so soon. Our Ollie was a trooper through the mountains, we took Rte 60 through New Mexico and Arizona, and put some 3,800 miles on it during the two months. We stopped in Pie Town and of course bought an apple pie. We toured Sedona, Jerome, and rode the Verde Canyon Train. We camped on the edge of the Grand Canyon, toured through Mesa Verde, and even weathered tornado warnings in Kansas. Great trip! Wonderful memories made.
  3. Ok, we can start the furry feline post. We have two Egyptian Mau cats, RJ is 16 and Sophia is 7. They always travel with us and love the adventures. Steve made a cat scratch post for them on the dining table stand. We open the door to our lower compartment and store their litter box there while being camped. On the move their litter box goes on the back floor of the truck.
  4. Wanted to add our Ollie and truck to the list. Thanks for doing this.
  5. We love our basement access door! We have a dog and two cats accompanying us and they all ride in the back seat of the truck in transit to our next destination - we utilize the basement to hold our chocks and set up equipment but once we are set up we set the empty crates in the truck bed and the basement is where the cat litter box goes - fits perfect, easy to access and clean daily, and the basement door stays open for the cats, only closing it long enough to clean the litter box. Works great for us and keeps the dog from getting into the mess.
  6. Here is our solution for mounting the Garmin 890 RV in a 2020 Tundra. Modular dash plate is from Rago Fabrication, Ram mounts are used to attach Garmin and Furrion displays to dash plate.
  7. Quincy is our 11 yo miniature schnauzer who loves to travel - his only misdeed is his schnauzer tendency for barking but otherwise he behaves quite nicely. We are hoping to add our two Egyptian Mau cats to the mix of traveling companions in the near future as they are Quincy’s best friends.
  8. There are sprinklers and water hoses on every site to water the sod. There is a lot of hay on the top so when you look closer there is green grass starting to show through. Regarding planting trees, we didn’t think they probably planned on trees since solar seems to be the way to go. A few picnic tables would be nice but we were told they are on order.
  9. Here are some photos of the new Oliver Campsites - plus a bonus of Mr Quincy waiting to see his new home.
  10. Our experience at the new Oliver campsites was enjoyable - the sites are just meant for overnight to be close by and not for a real camping experience but it was reassuring having them next door since just a few steps took you back to them for questions and help if needed. We were very fortunate to have great weather and no issues with our camper. Traveled to David Crockett State Park for this evening but will be heading north to Fort Massac State Park in southern Illinois for a couple of nights before returning to our home in Illinois. Will try to post photos later in the week. Mary
  11. Spending our first night at the new Oliver campground in our amazing Elite II. Last September we toured the factory and made the decision that this was the RV we really wanted once we had retired this summer. The forum has been a great source of learning all about the Oliver Elite II. We are looking forward to many adventures and meeting new friends. So very excited!
