  1. Hi All, I don't know if this helps be we also backed off on the 2022 model and opted to go for the 2023 model that is scheduled for mid-March delivery. I also asked about Truma and this is what Josh from sales emailed us back: "Good morning! The Truma A/C that we us is the Truma Aventa ECO. It does not have a heat strip in it. But, the Truma furnace, water heater, and furnace will all be on one control panel. I hope this answered your question. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact me." I hope this adds to the discussion.
  2. Congratulations on your new Oliver! Looks great. We are (hopefully) taking delivery in Mid-August and your drive is steeper than ours, so that took some of the worry out that we had. Safe and fun travels.
  3. Hello Mark and Cyndi, I am glad that everyone (including the cat) made it through uninjured. I hope that they put out a warrant for this person! Best of luck in finding an Oliver replacement. Dale & Sara
  4. Hello, We have a 2022 Oliver Elite II that is scheduled for delivery in mid-august. Oliver gave us a military discount of $1,000. To get the discount all I had to do was to email them a copy of my DD-214. Hope this helps answer that question.
  5. Thanks, For all your comments. The thread I was referring to was the one John reminded me that I should have added with several pictures of a worn out Anderson 2" ball. My feeling is with the 2023 $8,500 base price increase the 2022 (which we have on order) the price difference was small in the scheme of things. Also, my apologies if I offended anyone. This is my first camper and a learning experience. As I tell my friends I can fly airplanes (I have an Airline Transport Pilot rating) but have never towed a trailer. This is going to be an adventure in and of itself. Dale
  6. Hi All We ordered an Oliver Elite II with a delivery date of September, 2022. After reading the "horror stories" on another thread pertaining to the 2" Anderson WDH and recommendations by some forum member to upgrade to a 2 5/16" . I reached out to Oliver and for an additional $250.00 they agreed the upgrade the 2" to the 2 5/16" Bulldog coupler ($800 for the WDH and $250 for the 2 5/16" Bulldog coupler. Below is a portion of the updated Purchase Order. I just wanted to thank those in the Oliver forum who made the posts about this issue with the 2" Bulldog coupler. Also, it is now an option for 2023. Dale Hitch • Hitch Option: 2-5/16" Bulldog Hitch with Andersen No-Sway Hitch $1,050.00
  7. Hi Bill, My apologies for the late reply. I just saw your post. Per your suggestion we have been watching a lot of videos on the Anderson WDH (including the one from Ollie). I appreciate you taking the time to post! Dale
  8. Hi Bill, Thank you for taking the time to respond and Happy Holidays. We will be towing with a 2021 Ford F-150 Lariat with the 2.7L Eco boost with the For Trailer package. We also decided to go with an Anderson hitch for the Elite II. I hope that was a good choice. Dale
  9. Hello, My name is Dale and my wife Sara and I are in the final stages of purchasing a 2022 Oliver Elite II. Our only concern is where to get it serviced? Does anyone know of a good RV service center in Oregon that is familiar with and can service Oliver trailers? Also, we live in Southern Oregon, in Talent (Yes, we were in the Almada fire of 2020, but our house was luckily spared, thank goodness). Any information is helpful and thank you in advance for posting. Dale
