Howdy, I have a 2020 Oliver Elite 2, 2nd owner. Hull # 644. 3-way Norcold fridge was working great most of the time on my 3 month trip from Texas to Alaska, always on propane. Then we filled freezer with freezer packed frozen fish. Fridge was pretty full too. But a few weeks ago we noticed fridge was warmer. (Freezer was still freezing though) then every now and then the fridge would be off with an error code N. I was able to reset that with jumper cable and it would start cooling, but then in a day or two it would be off again. we emptied most of fridge, we made sure the thermostat thing on interior fins is at the top, turned fridge up to 9. Oliver is always level, we cleaned fridge and seals, the fan is running, but it does get really hot in both compartments. Most of our trip we stayed in cool temperature locations, never needing AC. Seems like fridge just keeps having issues. now I’m home in Texas, it’s very hot here. Fridge is completely empty and all cleaned up. I left it turned off for a couple days. Turned it on using gas, it ran about a day, then error message N. I plugged my trailer into a 110 outlet and tried to run on AC, it turned off and gave different error code of no electric. Switch it to DC and it’s running, fridge is still seeming not cool, freezer is feeling pretty cold. I took some photos of what my 2 compartments look like. The top one has stacks of styrofoam an metal tape and the bottom is 2 metal plates over the top of the fins and fan in the back. I currently have both covers off and pulled up the 2 metal plates to allow more air flow around the fan. I have used small rubber mallet to tap black coils. I could add ice to fridge and freezer to assist cooling? I have checked all 3 fuses- good! All connections of wires look good. Everything is dry in the back, nothing leaking, no smells. ive been reading everything I can find. What am I missing? When Oliver installs the fridge do they put all that styrofoam and the metal plates in the top? ( that seems to restrict air flow). It’s hot to the touch in both compartments. Really hot here in texas, but they were hot in Alaska and in Colorado too. any new ideas out there? thanks, Tanya Phillips Austin, TX Hull 644

I can’t believe registration opened on some unknown date and is already closed down 2 months before the event???? I got a camping site back in January and tried for months to register with Oliver. I called the park after I registered to tell them I was with the Oliver group and was added. I posted on this forum asking when they would open registration, as well. No answers. Why would someone not email people who registered to attend the rally to let them know there was finally a registration link? so now what? I already have a campsite, got that back in January. Why didn’t registration open at the same time as sites were available? I’ve been remote camping in Canada and Alaska since the end of May, so just thought to go online and look for a reg link. who should I talk with? Is there a registration fee? if you’ve never been to this event, it’s incredibly difficult to get details on it. it’s very frustrating, there should just be an email list you sign up for and an invite that goes out.

Hi I’m gonna be at my first rally. I registered to camp back in January, but the Oliver site wouldn’t let me register with you yet. I tried many times through May before I left on a 3 month trip to Alaska. Now I’m on my way back to Texas and checked to see if I could finally register and it was closed already ? I’m very confused. The event is still a couple months out. Anyways we are camping in site D14 - 2 adults. After planning this for over a year, I sure hope we still get to attend??? Tanya Phillips Todd Lape

I got my reservation online and there are a few discounts to choose from, nice! I chose D-14 since I don't need sewer hookup with composting toilet. We still can't register with Oliver (or whomever) I see. But it didn't look like there are many campsites left at Lake Guntersville Oct 21-25, 2026, so you better get on that reservations system in a hurry! 🙂 See y'all soon! I took the Oliver tour at the factory in Tennessee last week from one of the Oliver sons. I asked if they ever offered other colors. They said only 2 other colors were ever made by Oliver, one in RED and one in Black. He doesn't recall if they were sold or kept back, nor where they are at the moment.
