Boilermaker Chemist
If you are looking for a simple way to keep your 7-pin plug out of the dirt, I found this Plug Keeper on the RVUpgradeStore.com for only $3.99. Since I have a particular aversion to drilling holes in our Oliver, I wanted to attach it to the trailer tongue with VHB tape. However, the back of the plug keeper is hollow. So I made a backing plate from a piece of 1/8” black acrylic sheet to increase the surface area for better adhesion. Two 3/16” aluminum trifold rivets worked well to attach the acrylic to the plug keeper. 6 Mike & Ann 2021 Tundra DC SR5, Improved Racing MHX-514 transmission cooler 2023 LE II - Hull #1420 - "Hank the Tank", Truma A/C, Furnace and WH package, AGM/solar
