johnwen Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM (edited) Any ideas how to fix? 3 years in the sun and things like this are expected. Am thinking about loosening the clips and covering both wires with tubing of some sort. Thanks, John Edited yesterday at 02:13 AM by johnwen 1 Oliver II #996 "Bessie", 2019 Silverado LTZ 5.3, Veterans https://wenandjohnsadventure.com/
Moderators topgun2 Posted 18 hours ago Moderators Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Have you tried contacting the awning company about this? Good luck! Bill p.s. a spray of Aerospace 303 Protectant every now and then might help slow down this problem too. Good first step and of course don't touch it until you get their answer. If they will not warranty it, I would tape where it's cracked and then add an UV protective loom around it. Do this even if they do replace the wire harness, so the new one won't look the same in another 5 years. 1 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!
