Geronimo John Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'm beginning to look more seriously at what my next set of tires should be. Spent lots of time on the "Tire Finder" and Road and Track only to be disappointed. Their trailer tire selection info was pretty limited. Got to thinking further and recalled that a long time ago, a member indicated that he was using ribbed tires on his Oliver Trailer. So to the AI I went rabbit hole digging. I stated that I wanted a tire like my 2019 OTT OEM Michelin Defenders. They have lasted 9 seasons and at 50,000 miles are in great shape with zero problems. I added that it is important to me that they not toss rocks. The results are outlined in the attachment under "Option One". The more I thought about it, I decided to load up AI with my full wish list of attributes and fired it off for it to chew further. The AI response to this list provided in the attachment under "Option 2". The attachment is provided for your reading enjoyment and comment. What do you think about using ribbed tires on our OE2's? But more importantly to plant the seed for interested owner's to modify the list with YOUR style of use and requirements. Then to share them for us all to consider further.
