Brian H. Posted Thursday at 03:07 PM Posted Thursday at 03:07 PM Hello all, I have a 2025 legacy elite 2 hull #1633. Reading the manual about filling the freshwater tank it mentions fresh water inlet and rear water inlet, are these the same inlet. I know about turning the valves to boondocking configuration but which port do i hook the hose hose that goes in the jug to. Manual says rear water inlet but I do not see one labeled this on the trailer. Thanks in advance.

The port that connects to the jug is located on the curb side at the very rear of the trailer, next to the bumper. The fresh water inlet is on the rear street side of the trailer, and on my unit both ports on that side of trailer are clearly labeled (fresh water and city water). When we purchased our used 2022 model earlier this year, I found the factory valve configuration diagram to be incomplete and somewhat confusing. After tracing the plumbing and verifying the valve functions, I expanded the diagram and created a revised version, which I’ve attached. In my opinion, it provides a much clearer explanation of the system and makes it easier to understand the various valve configurations. 1 TV: 2019 F-150 Super Crew Lariat, 3.5L EcoBoost, 10 Speed Transmission, Max Tow and Offroad package. Brian H. Posted Thursday at 05:29 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:29 PM My trailer only has 2 inlet ports, one labeled city water(curb side) and one labeled fresh water (street side).

You may want to hear from an owner with a 2025 model, or a model year closer to yours. On my 2022 unit, the winterizing inlet is clearly located at the rear of the trailer near the bumper, as shown in the photo. Tideline77 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I’m pretty sure there was a change on the city water, fresh water and the boondocking inlet ports around 2024 or 2025 I do not remember the details and I am not a subject matter expert 1 Robert E 2022 LE II , LIthium Pro, 2018 F150 XLT 4WD 2.7 EcoBoost , 355 gears, tow package,36 gallon fuel, factory brake controller, transmission cooler
Dean and Mary Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Mossemi, Providing the electronic manual for the OTT-2025 should help. From that manual, the rear inlet appears to be in the same location has my OTT-2022 model. Cut and pasted from the OTT-2025 manual. Dean and Mary Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I see the source of the confusion now. There are only two water inlets on the OTT-2025 vs three inlets on my OTT-2022, and the rear inlet and city water inlet are actually the same connection. As I mentioned earlier, the fresh water inlet and rear inlet are not the same. The attached diagram from the OTT 2025 manual illustrates this more clearly, showing that the rear inlet and city water inlet are one and the same. 1 TV: 2019 F-150 Super Crew Lariat, 3.5L EcoBoost, 10 Speed Transmission, Max Tow and Offroad package. jd1923 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Interesting change. Makes sense to have 2 vs. 3 inlets given the valving can provide the same 3-way functionality. What seems odd to me is the newly-chosen location of the City Water inlet. Water inlets should both be on the service side, the street side of the trailer. I often use our 10 ft hose to connect to City Water when a campsite has a water hookup. With this configuration I’d need to get out the 25 ft hose. Too bad they didn’t keep the two inlets together as they’ve always been and deleted the rear inlet. I'm also thankful to have all 3 jack switches in one location up front. It would be painful to level the trailer activating switches from 2 locations. A lot of walking back and forth, and the second location being behind the rear basement door is not at all helpful. Some changes are not deemed “improvements” by all! 😎 Edited 1 hour ago by jd1923 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!
