Wanderers Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Hey John, I did see your set up and that is exactly how they should offer an after build set up for people that travel North America. I've worked hard to make my TV into an Aussie clone as I really don't get North American style trucks with beds that dent so easily. I will be copied some of your ideas for sure. Great looking setup PerryG 1
Steve Moore Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Good evening Minnesota Ollie 😊, I’m having mud flaps installed on our Elite 1 shortly, would you be kind enough to give me the distance from the bottom of your flaps to the ground ? Thanks very much.  Steve Moore Vancouver Island Canada Â
Snackchaser Posted Friday at 11:18 PM Posted Friday at 11:18 PM I just finished this great mod! Â Thanks Minnesota Oil! FYI, this modification can be done with hand tools, it just takes a lot of elbow grease with a hacksaw. Â I used a woodworking bandsaw with a fine blade and 2" hole-saw." Â The edges were draw-filed for a polished look. Â I didn't mill out a recess to fit the frame per Minnesota's plans, but I did drill and bottom tap blind holes (not all the way through) for the mud flaps. Â All the aluminum was available at Amazon: 12" x 8" x 1/2" plate 12" x 3" x 1/2" bar 12" x 3" x 1/8" bar I had some difficulty finding decent mud flaps. Â I ended up getting a set at O'Reilly's Auto Parts, they had a chevron patten on one side and vertical lines on the other. Â Cheers! Geoff 1 5
