  2. Pete said: Well after a most diligent search of old photos, sure enough, I don't have a photo of Pete in camo overalls. However there are many photos of Pete in overalls so it is not a far stretch to think that he actually does have camo overalls !
  3. Pete tries out a Elk hunter's blind with his imaginary rifle. Judging from the lichens on the rock, this was an ancient old hunting blind. There were no Elk present but we did find enough fresh Bear sign to keep us on our toes !
  4. Betty hooks up the bait fish and Pete casts the jug. Unlimited class fishing tackle. #fishingforbigguns Here's the link to a 17 second video;

  6. The travels of Pete and Oscar the smiley dog can be followed at: http://peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com/ Lots of photos of their adventures !
  7. Pete calls to Elk in the meadow far below. Photo taken near LaManga Pass well above 10 thousand feet of elevation up in the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado
  8. Pete and Oscar, travel America coast to coast and border to border. And sometimes beyond. Most of us have ran into them out on the road somewhere along the way, enjoyed their company and went on our way smiling. Here is a look at Oscar and Betty during a boat ride on lake Greeson in Arkansas during a Oliver gathering/fishing trip. Look at those smiles ! See that smile, standing top right, he's getting ready for the fish fry ! Pete , no smile now, he's totally focused on that plate of catfish ! That large plate of catfish fillets forced Pete into a recliner where he fell into a deep catfish coma ! Here he is as he begins to recover. All of this was such great fun, but one time Pete and Oscar came to our rescue when I pinched a nerve while hosting a campground up in the front range of the Rocky Mountains. We were glad indeed to see their smiling faces when they came to our aid. Oliver owners, more than friends, they're family.
  9. Our members go to the coolest of places and it is quite entertaining to view their public photos and videos. It's easy, just click on a member's avatar or user name and when you arrive at their profile page select either video's or photos to view them ! For example, here is my profile page, just scroll down and select videos to view a video of your choice: http://olivertraveltrailers.com/user/mountainborn/ Here is one of those videos taken down at the National Seashore on Padre Island back in 2009 while camping in hull #3:

About This Item Sunrise after overnighting at Gander Mountain OLLIE is a 2008 OLIVER TRAVEL TRAILER and is the hideout of mountainborn and Butcherknife who have a base camp in the heart of Arkansas's Ouachita Mountains. OLLIE is the FOB, that's forward operating base, for fishing, camping, hunting, scuba diving and geocaching as the times dictate. OLLIE is often used to escape winter weather, look for OLLIE on Padre Island, or to escape the Summer heat, look out Colorado Jeep trails. OLLIE is fully self contained, and is pulled by a Jeep Wrangler into some wild, remote and wonderful places, you know, the kind of places that are "just naturally good for your soul !!" OLLIE was born in Hohenwald Tennessee and his manufacturer's home page is: www.olivertraveltrailers.com/ . OLLIE, Butcherknife and mountainborn's home page is THE MULE'S NEST located at, www.mountainborn.com . Here is the actual link from back in 2008: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=HWZDF3 A where is Ollie now thread is such a good idea ! When I joined these forums in Jan of 2008 I was among the first three doing so. though it was pretty simple back then, it was something that our new owners were really wanting and needing. And, the growth of these forums has reflected that time and again.
