  1. Good report Pete. That flexibility is a good thing to have alright. Cool that all of your systems are giving you good service from the git go ! Those guys at the factory are pretty efficient.
  2. Aaah, yes, the general, real food for real folks ! And I see by your previous post you ate at the Rio Colorado, good stuff there. The owners brother has another a place on main street that has a lunch buffet that is good also.
  3. GROOM TEXAS LEANING WATER TOWER: A old gag that was designed to promote tourism, still works ! > The Oliver Forums was down for a bit this morning, so I also posted this over on Casita Club dot com. > > Before the nearby truckstop was closed, Butcherknife and I had refueled there a number of times and had looked the leaning water tower over. The story behind the construction of this wonderful gag could be the best part, if only I could remember all of the details. My Grandson hadn't seen it before, so I played it up pretty big, and never told him any different. He wasn't dozing in the passengers seat much after that ! Here is a link to the video on youtube: > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJqLNsv8muQ > Ain't it cool that because of the size and handling of our fiberglass travel trailers, we can just suddenly decide to go exploring with out unhooking the tow ? In this short clip we turn down a rutted dirt road, cross a cattle guard and make a u turn on the open range, immediately after leaving the interstate, where we had been traveling 65/70 MPH. The four inch lift axle helps with giving more choices of turn arounds. The fifteen inch tires and wheels give needed flotation in the very sandy soil.
  4. Have you came across something cool while motoring down the highway ? Give us a look , please ! Post your storys, photos and video clips here for us to enjoy with you.
  5. Then flip the double jointed hasp over and lock the cover back to the gen set mount:
  6. The aluminum cover is so light that it could easily blow away even in a fairly light breeze, so, securing it so it can't get away goes like this, set it on the ground right beside the generator:
  7. Hasp and padlock added on each side of the generator cover with keyed alike locks.
  8. Chuck's got catfish on his mind this Spring ! He sent this link, so I'll post it here for all to enjoy. This is classic noodling: http://www.czabe.com/audioclips/catfishingthehardway.wmv
  9. SWEET !! Man, Oh, Man ! Lookin' good ! Now that's what i'm talkin' bout' !
  10. It was great to visit some of the old places from my childhood. I found that while on my way out there I could only think of the names of a few of the different types of cacti. But after getting out there where I was actually looking at them I could remember most of their names. The Snow storm met us at the Mogollon Rim area, so we chickened out and turned South towards Globe, on AZ 77, to get out of it. Later, on the way back to Arkansas, we caught up with the second wave of the snow storm and stayed behind it all of the way home. It must have been the same snow that the Hackberry campers were in.
  11. Traveling along behind the snow storm during our way back from Arizona, mileage was low because of head winds, but traveling wasn't half bad, at all:
  12. MINI RALLY ! Very Cool ! That sounds so good. We are all denned up because of several days of very heavy rain. We sure could use those photos about now, earthdancer !
  13. Thanks for the heads up on the handle , I'll work on that one some more !
  14. Want to observe the full load test and hear how the generator sounds for your self ? Here is a link to the video that I took during the full load test: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5TjpcoU26E
  15. Welcome to the Oliver forums. Since it is the weekend , buffalo bob will probably not be back in the office untill Monday morning. However, if memory serves me right, the Oliver Owners interactive map shows one or more Oliver Owners in the Austin area. The map is listed on the first page of the forums, if you would like to take a peek at it. But, I'll bet that someone on these forums will read your message and respond. For sure buffalo bob will send you a message with information you can use on Monday.
