How do you store your trailer? I think I'd like to store a trailer inside. How big of a space do you need to store an Elite II?

To those of you who have the Atwood, are you happy with it? Is it quiet? Someone told me it is much bigger an unattractive. Does it look ok? Would you get it again?

The Atwood seems to be half as loud as the dometic penguin II. Use less power. But it seems to be 1" higher and 5 pounds less weight. The penguin's only advantage seems to be it is 1" shorter. which do ya'll recommend?

What size clam shelter and manufacturer do you recommend?

Thanks! 1. We thought about the twin risers. But, my wife told me we'll want to sit on the beds. And, that the risers will put the mattress es too high. 2. Can you send me a picture of how you put / attached the tube? I'll pm you my email address. 3. I don't even know what a clam shelter is. I'll google it. 4. Toaster oven, great idea. I was thinking of an induction cooktop too. But, I have an old camping white gas stove. I'll start with that.

I'm interested in suggestions on what to carry and how to carry it. For example: 1. Black water stuff, hoses, etc. 2. Carpet to set up chairs etc. on. I saw someone somehow put a 4 or 6" piece of PVC pipe on their trailer. 3. Comfortable, compact chairs to sit on outside. 4. Fishing rods 5. Other items? Please tell me what is important to carry and how you carry / stow it. 6. Kitchen stuff and how you stow it.

I wonder if a dehumidifier would put out enough heat to be a heater in the winter?

Will the tankless heater work on both propane and electricity?

Someone told me he had to modify his TV to get it to charge the Oliver's batteries. John, are you going to use your solar to charge the car battery? Does your TV have a second alternator?

Travel trailers are new to me. I assume that if you buy the trailer, that you have to pay sales tax and register the trailer. I live in Texas. If I were to buy a trailer, would I pay sales tax in Texas and register it in Texas? You don't pay property tax on a trailer, do you?

You are showing an access door on the curb side and one under the night stand. Is one of these now a standard? Does it cost much to add them? Do you use them?

If you get the macerator, isn't it installed such that it's out of the way?

We are interested in the Elite II. 1. Is the bathroom big enough? Can you shower in it comfortably? Does water get out? Is it hard to clean? 2. I've read about the Air Command AC-150 with the soft start. I like the AC-150 because it has the heat pump and you can use that instead of the propane heater. Would a Honda 2000 watt generator start it? 3. Can the tow vehicle charge the batteries? 4. I'd like to get lithium batteries. But, I haven't seen anyone that has them and I don't know if Oliver could make the changes for them. Anyone have lithium?

Thanks John. If you get the small Air Command, the Ollie still has a propane furnace, right? Or, could you get the larger Air Command with a soft start and would the 2000 watt Honda generator start it?

Why isn't the Atwood an option?
