Thank you Overland. That's our intended course of action as a backup. Your setup is pretty sweet! I like the table and additional shelf beside the stove top. We are total newbies, we just placed an order last Friday and won't pick up until mid January....which is a bit of a bummer. But we've been through it before with our 2018 Casita, but that wait was only 7 months 🙂

On the twin floor plan, has anyone removed the bed rails and trimmed off a couple inches to make it a little easier to use the beds for seating areas? At 30 inches it's a little far from the wall to the edge of the bed. 28 inches would be fine for us as a bed width dimension and 4 inches wider in the isle way would be welcome. Fitting around the lamp stand cabinet would have a 2 inch gap on each side to be filled in somehow, I suppose. I asked Jason about it at the factory and he said the area where the rivets fasten the rail down is thinner and if I cut off the back side it would then be too thick to lay level with the rest of the molding. You are right IMO, RB. Non ethanol is the way to go but can be hard to find sometimes 🙂 Anyway, weed whackers and chainsaws are things of the past for me, and if I need a generator I will definitely go with non ethanol!

How many times has that one bit me, lol. Although I have zero experience with generators, I have gummed up many a chainsaw and weed whacker thinking I'll be using them again in a couple of weeks. 🙂

Hi John, If you have any interest in the Clam, then you should take a look at Gazelle. They are a little smaller than 10x10 and stow at 63 inches long and are considerably cheaper than a Clam. We have one and the only downsides I see are that it is floor-less and the screening blocks most of the wind, so summertime you need a fan. The screening does block out insects very well. The Gazelle pops out just as the Clam does, very easy setup and take down. The hardest part is getting it back into the bag 🙂 John

Thanks Bill. We didn't have the resources to pay for an Oliver until we sold the house last year. We really hate the idea of leaving the Casita behind, so we'll keep it in storage for a year or so after we get the Oliver to make sure of the "Oliver life." They look similar from the outside and we've even had a few people ask if the Casita was an Oliver...since we have no logos on the Casita.

Thank you SeaDawg. Full-timing for about 15 months now. Sold the house in South Carolina and haven't looked back. Our Casita is an 2018 model we bought at the end of 2017. It still looks new. I hate to part with it but, as I age, a little more room and the safety of 4 tires vs 2 will be appreciated. I'm sure glad to find this forum....so many ideas and much information. 🙂

Yesterday we had Jason L. reserve a spot for us on the Oliver assembly line. Construction doesn't start until November with pickup in January next year. As full-timers in our 17' Casita we are so looking forward to stepping up to an little larger FG home and moving on. I'm so impressed with the factory and people who work there. WooHoo 🙂 John

Hello all, My name is John and I currently own a 2018 Casita Liberty Deluxe, which my wife and I love. We may be full timing soon and might be in need of a slightly larger FG trailer. We really want a 4 season trailer. The Olivers seem to be the best but are very expensive. We've not seen one yet but are impressed with the reviews and the pictures/videos. I'll need to start with an upgraded tow vehicle. We are looking at the 2019 Nissan Titan king cab. If our home sells we'll probably go to Tennessee to visit the Oliver factory and make our decision then. Thanks for the add to your website 🙂
