  1. One easy addition I would like to see is a water pump switch in the outdoor shower cabinet so I can wash my hands after dumping. Now, I have to go back in the trailer to turn on the water pump.
  2. I gotta say we couldn't be happier with our 2020 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel Longhorn with Anderson WDH and air suspension. The WDH is no big deal at all. We don't even notice our 2018 Ollie LEII behind us. And, as others have noted, driving without the trailer around town is a very pleasant ride. We were getting 18 mpg towing on the flat roads of Florida. They seemed to be paired extremely well but we are close to maxing out on payload capacity. When checking in at a State park campground, there was a car that kept circling us taking pictures. Despite being convinced otherwise, my wife assured me that they weren't taking pictures of me 😁.
  3. Thanks Townesw and Overland - all very useful.
  4. thanks for the rapid response. That's where I'm at now. Truma is checking on sending me a new circuit board but waiting on approval from the higher-ups. I'm not sure the error was not cleared when reset - the error only appeared after 12v was reconnected AND the propane, pump, and AquaGo were turned back on - not right after 12v was reconnected. Unfortunately the Truma tech I spoke with only started a few weeks ago so he is not up-to-speed on ancient history as per his admission.
  5. Overland, I noted in one of your previous posts that you replaced your Truma AquaGo circuit board controller under a manufacturer's recall. Do you have any information on that recall? I can't seem to find anything online.
  6. Thanks all for the replies. I am in the Florida Keys where we live. The closest Truma dealers are in Ft. Myers (a 4 hr drive) and Port St. Lucie (also a 4 hour drive). The error occurs on either city or pump water. The unit does not operate at all when it throws the code. The unit has not been decalcified since I bought it used this summer. Not sure about the previous owner. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 2018 Truma production run had a bad batch of circuit boards and they were replacing these free of charge to the many people who had issues. Does anyone know anything about this?
  7. I have a 2018 Elite II hull and my Truma AquaGo is throwing off an error code 26: "Circulation pump current consumption error - The current detector at the circulation pump has measured a current outside the permitted limits." As per Oliver support, I disconnected the batteries to reset the unit but no luck. Truma is saying it probably needs to go to a dealer for diagnostics. I am many hours from the nearest dealer. Anyone have any experience with this error code or suggestions for next steps? Thanks
  8. In 2006, I rode my bicycle unsupported across country to celebrate my 50th birthday. Sure it was repetitive and God-awful long across the prairies, but those are some of my fondest memories of the trip. I remember with great affection the flint hills of Kansas, camping under infinite skies, combines to the horizon, golden bales of hay. I suspect that creating these unanticipated memories are why many of us got our Ollies in the first place.
  9. 13 minutes ago I'm sorry. I just don't get this aversion to the midwest. I grew up in New England, wentbto school in Colorado, worked fro Wyoming Game and Fish in the Tetons, grew oysters on the coast of central California, worked in the Turks and Caicos Islands for 2 year, run a pan-Caribbean ngo, and have worked for Florida Fish and Wildlife doing marine research in the Florida Keys for the last 35 years...all beautiful places...and I think the plain states are absolutely gorgeous. Have you seen the buffalo grazing in the tall grass prairie? Or watched a thunderstorm rumbling across the horizon? The thousands of cranes on the Platte? With all due respect, perhaps you could stop along the way from somewhere to somewhere else. You may just be surprised.
  10. Hi Tex. We bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Longhorn ecodiesel 4x4 with air suspension and 3.92 rear axle last month in part for towing our LEII. It has been absolutely a dream. We have been all over flat Florida with it; in some cases we got 18 mpg. The Ollie has the Anderson hitch. We didn't even know we it was behind us. One word of caution. As has been pointed out on this and other forums, check the payload capacity. Each option you get on the Ram will reduce the PC. Our is only about 1200 lbs. Don't believe the salesmen either - they will quote you a base trim model with 2wd and no options. The PC for the specific vehicle will be posted inside the driver's door. Bottom line - no issues and we love it!
  11. Great feedback and suggestion. Thanks
  12. As a die-hard Makita 18v cordless tool lover, I just noticed they started producing an 18v cordless inflator (https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/DMP180ZX). Wondering if anyone has any experience with these as an on-the-road tire inflator alternative to the VIAIR products?
