  1. Mine also came loose, on my way to pick up some 3M VHB 4950 or the redialy avalible Gorilla DST
  2. I see the Blue Seas is a 100 Amp fuse while the original Optifuse is 300 did you use this exact fuse? I'm going to try this one as well. Thanks!
  3. I’m on my 2nd OptiFuse breaker. It trips often. Not sure what to do but I would like to replace it with something better.
  4. Speedy RV charged me $50. David said it was half of his hourly charge. I was just happy to get things squared away and ready for travel. Our unit (1238) is a 22, so it was new looking as well.
  5. New burner installed yesterday 4/24/25 by David of Speedy RV in Benson AZ. Thanks for all the input!
  6. Has anyone received a replacement burner from the Truma water heater recall? It's been nothing but crickets on my end from Oliver. I have emails and calls to Oliver but have received no response yet. I haven't used my water heater for months, and need to know if it is safe to use. I suspect they may have been closed due to all the recent storms. Hopefully, everyone is okay.
  7. Anyone know if Oliver got the replacement parts? I was told in January they were 60 days out. Was anyone told not to use the water heater?
  8. Mine never fully seats. Our first dump was quite a surprise. The hose was completely full from the valve not seating completely. I now manually close it at the valve under the galley seat. I also keep a gate valve on the end of the hose. It seems to me the cable is to short, I have it fully adjusted. I do have a replacement cable but just not sure how to run it through the maze of obstacles. Has anyone replaced the cable?
  9. Just wondering if you travel with the water tank full? I figured that’s what it’s made for. But I hear some people don’t top off before heading out.
  10. Congratulations! It's a beautiful-looking setup.
  11. I prefer fiberglass 😀
  12. I have been following their YouTube page for years now. If you are a sheep herder or hunter they may work out fine. I like the wood stoves but after 30 years in Alaska and 17 years in North Idaho, we are looking for warmer weather and not needing a wood stove 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=peak+mountain+camps
  13. I haven't used it on an Oliver but from my fiberglass boating life, I liked MarineTex, Epoxy.
  14. Thanks, that's exactly what I did, the fix is now completed. Happy with the improved airflow.
  15. I'm in the middle of my conversion. I have removed the Kitchen/Bathroom T and attached the duct to the front of the furnace. I'm going to have a problem putting the T at the bedroom location due to waterlines in the way. (I'll include a photo) I didn't want a plumbing job. thinking of just going to the Kitchen and eliminating the sleeping area. Was your duct restricted like this?
  16. Thanks, Patriot for the link. https://olivertraveltrailers.com/dealers/ Hopefully, I can do most of my own maintenance. I'm finding as I get older there are some things I can't do as easily but I seem to have more time. So here we go, life is an adventure. https://olivertraveltrailers.com/dealers/
  17. I have been using cedar or plastic for door framing shims on my receiver hitch to stop the rattle for years. I just installed Rock Tamers and will try them if things loosen up.
  18. Have you posted a list of authorized service centers? Been looking around online. It would be good to keep a list handy as we travel around the country. Thanks
  19. Is there a list of authorized service centers?
  20. Luxury is in the eye of the beholder! 😉
  21. I had this problem several times. After I reset the breaker located in the space under the bed near the inverter. I then change the setting in the Xantrex app "Breaker Rating" to 15A . I was plugged into a household 20A receptacle and I think that may have had something to do with it. Good Luck. 23. Thanks, I have a new project. Betty was excited to hear your modification & solution 🙂
  24. This is not expert advice so take it for what it's worth, (just what worked for me) I had to remove my GFCI receptacle on the exterior house outlet and replace it with a regular outlet. I used a single 20 amp outlet instead of the 15 amp GFCI duplex breaker. The inverter charger would not work with a GFCI connection. Yes, my breaker in the panel is 20 amp. I use a 25' extension cord, 15 amp rated, dog boned to the 30 amp cord. I also had to change my Xantrex app "Breaker Rating" setting to 15 amps. I am careful to protect the cords and connections from the elements and when I move my E2 away for the traveling season I put the GFCI back in place for safety. Also noticed I can't use an external surge protector at the power pedestal with the integrated EMS that came with the Oliver. I plan to add a 120V, 30-amp outlet in the coming days to resolve my power issues.
  25. We stayed in 100°+ temperatures last summer and did fine. We had to travel into the heat for a family memorial service in New Mexico and then to Southern Missouri. It did great in dry and humid conditions. We had to use a generator or be hooked up to shore power. We also learned to set the fan to low speed and let it run. This way only the compressor cycles intermittently which is muted by the constant white noise of the fan. For us, this is way less disruptive for sleeping.
