  1. We really like it, but don't forget to take a wastewater extension hose. Got to enjoy the Blue Supermoon too, with no light pollution.
  2. Ana and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary (actually on the 6th) at Bastrop State Park before the long weekend's mayhem. Had a little fridge issue with our Norcold 3-way (repair guys in the background of the video) that I'll post in the appropriate section. The reporter asked Ana what she would name a fire, should one happen again like the one in 2011. The artsy side of her brain must have given way to the mechanic side, and I'm sure her Marine ROTC training and being married to a Sailor didn't help either! She said, "Hot as Balls" fire. Needless to say, that got edited out. Enjoy...Steve & Ana's Legacy Elite I at Bastrop State Park
  3. Yep, I got a BakFlip MX4 last October. Works as advertised. Forgot about the Stake Hole covers at first though! I've got a sprayed-on liner, so no rail caps ('89 C1500). Saw the cover burping a little bit in the side mirror. They're on Amazon pretty cheap.
  4. You might try a local High School Voc./Tech. office. The one here has some kids that do some really good fab. work I've seen, especially their painting! I'm going to hit them up on making me a custom tongue box. Sorry, but I couldn't resist this! I hope nobody takes offense. "I don't know but I've been told... Navy wings are made of gold... I don't know but it's been said... Air Force wings are made of lead..."
  5. My '71 Chevelle had this. There was slot for the cap that held the plate bracket open. Gas theft was high back then and you didn't want to grab my plate in the wrong place!
  6. You should be good as long as the thread grip length doesn't bottom out, i.e. too short a nut depth engaging the lug. My LE's lugs don't extend very far out of the wheel (can't recall the exact measurement). Make sure the nuts are long enough to get a good grip with the socket you use for torquing too! One of the stock nut's covers stripped out on me during the maiden flight from the"Oliver Birthing Facility." Just the doing a routine torque check. See attached photo with my replacement.
  7. Well HOWDY! 🤠 Some more South Texas folks! Ana and I are from Del Rio. Picked up our LE1 in Oct. 21 and loving it! Any of y'all going to the Rally? We're headed there now. Staying in LA and MS for a couple of days. We'll be in a half-sucked Atomic Fireball lookin' old Chevy truck with a beautiful Oliver behind it!
