  1. Been scouring the web about this topic and what an assortment of possibilities. Meguairs, collinite, Mothers, Rejex, Griots, Duragloss, Sea Shield, to name a few. Then there is cleaners, wash and wax, oxidation removers (light, moderate, severer), one step does all, polishers, wax ( paste, liquid), on and on. Electric polisher, orbital or non, cordless? Foam pads or wool? By now you can see my quandary. I enjoy the research but have yet to come to a solid conclusion. I like the powertool rather than elbow grease method. I'm thinking one steps products don't do as good a job and multiple steps. Don't know which is better...foam pads or wool (I think some of these thread refer to auto paint jobs rather than fiberglass). If you begin with a new trailer can you get by with just washing and waxing with a periodic oxidation removal? Depending on use and exposure. Definitely a big job and looking for the best solution.
  2. Other than the Oliver suggested product - does anyone have experience with a good, tried and tested marine wax? I know from my experience, what works very well on modern automotive finishes - my marine knowledge is , well nonexistent. Thanks in Advance RB
  3. I have seen several mentions of "Rejex" for trucks/car/Ollies. I went to Amazon to buy some... Ah, WHICH Rejex? There appears to be at least 4 types. I think the Corrosion version does not compute, but which one to put on my truck and future Olliver?? Thanks, Bill
  4. So after just over a year the TT was past due for a polish/wax job, especially after our first summer trip to Ft. Pickens. The little trees there offer some shade but the leaves leach quite a bit leaving a large amount of stains on top. I purchased the cordless milwaukee 7 in rotary polisher and its little 3 in brother and was pretty impressed by ease of use vs corded and battery life. You can get it as a kit (2 batteries and pads) if you don’t already have some of their proprietary batteries. The (2) 5 Amp/hr batteries finished the 2 step job easily with one additional charge. I used Meguiar’s polishing/cleaning compound and yellow pad and then their marine wax with black pad... beautiful better than new shine. The smaller polisher was great at doing the frame around the windows removing the black streaks from the above light gaskets (what a pain dealing with that every time I wash). Next time, I plan of using Meguiar’s 2:1 cleaner wax to whittle down the process to 1 step. 5. Just took possession of my Ollie Elite. So excited. Thanks to the Morey family for making this dream a reality for mey. Starting to plan trips for the upcoming fishing season. It will be so so nice to be comfortable, having been used to minimalist camping in a teardrop. Have a question. I am having to store my Ollie in a RV storage area. Right now it is outside. I am torn about spending the extra money to store inside or buy a high end cover. Living in Colorado weather conditions are obviously going to be hard on the camper. I am open to suggestions. C
  6. The black gaskets around all of my porch lights bleed black whenever they get wet. Does anyone else have this problem? Considering they are fairly new and under cover when not out on the road it doesn't seem possible they could be breaking down already. Thoughts?
