CRM Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) For anyone thinking about purchasing one of Hughes Autoformer units, you my want to wait a little longer. I had a conversation with a Hughes representative a couple of days ago and he informed me that a new Autoformer will be released within 1-3 months called the "Watchdog Power Center". It will have Bluetooth and WIFI connectivity and will be slightly larger than the current power boosting units are. If you already have an internally mounted Autoformer you will need to install a new mounting bracket for the Power Center. CRM Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 (edited) Sorry about the wacky text formatting. I copied and pasted from another group I posted this to and was using a black screen theme on my browser. Edit. CRM Posted Monday at 03:37 PM Author Posted Monday at 03:37 PM For those interested, the new Hughes Power Center has finally been released. They've combined all the features of their Watchdog surge protector line and the Autoformer into one unit. Looks very interesting, though the retail price is pretty steep at $819. They also eliminated the "Autoformer" lable, probably due to confusion with it being an "Autotransformer", which it is not. https://www.powerwatchdog.com/voltage-boosters 1 1 2010 Elite II Hull #45, the first LE2 sold. 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Off Road 4WD 5.7 with 4.30 axle and tow package.
