Olive2Roam Posted March 19 Posted March 19 We have decided to keep the back bed made up, and not use the table. The only problem is the metal brackets. It is uncomfortable to roll over into the brackets. But also - they are visible - at least 3"+ above the mattress. Does anyone have any suggestions for hiding these brackets? Thanks for your help. Steve Morris Posted March 19 Posted March 19 This doesn’t hide the brackets, but protects the sleeper from scratches on the sharp edge. We used them when our granddaughter camped with us last summer. https://a.co/d/bfuirDi 1 1 ----- Steve - Northern Ohio, USA Wandering around on occasion, always lost. 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser - 2023 Oliver Elite II Twin Hull #1360 “Curiosity” Facebook - Instagram Camped in Curiosity = Green —— Visited with Curiosity = Gray
Olive2Roam Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 Thanks. I will check them out. Legacy Elite Platinum, Hull $1465, Nissan Pathfinder, Rock Creek Edition
DunnYet Posted March 29 Posted March 29 We just took the brackets off the wall and stored them 🙂 Didn’t let the anchors bother us. You could use a white square plate and a white flat head screw to fill it. 1 Current: 2023 Oliver Elite II - Hull #1364 "Reset 2.0" (Second Owner) Tow Vehicle: 2023 Ford F-150 XLT 3.5L EcoBoost /w 3.55 axle and Max Tow Package "SIlver" Original: 2022 Oliver Elite I - Hull #1030 "Reset" (For Sale) Original Tow Vehicle: 2022 Subaru Ascent "Blue Moose" Home Base: Duncanville, TX
Coastal Aggie Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I live alone in my camper so I have ample space on the bed but I made a shelf that is supported by those brackets. It was just a live edge board I had laying around roughly 7 inches wide. Cut one end to match the curvature of the curb side wall and the other end goes just a couple inches past the road side bracket. A piece of aluminum angle iron is what hooks into the brackets secured with the same thumb screws used for the table. Ended up adding a small triangle gusset to keep it from sagging. Once I'm not traveling and have a chance to clean up I'll post a pic. I tend to leave a bunch of stuff kinda shoved under the shelf, as a full timer I never seem to have enough space to store everything while on the road. 2018 F150 FX4 5.0v8 2022 Oliver Elite Hull #1285 2023 Oliver Elite Hull #1434
