Mountainman198 Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Saw this 2025 E2 in a salvage yard. Hoping everyone is ok. Hard to imagine a SOB trailer surviving a roll-over as well is this Oliver did. The Solo Stove in the tongue basket did not fare so well. 1 8 3 2021 Elite II, Hull# 898 2018 Toyota Tundra, 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9l SRW
Bradt Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Check out the hitch. Either the stock hitch broke during the accident or it was changed prior. Where is this located? 3 2021 Elite II No. 713 2022 f150 eco boost tow package FX4
Roger Posted September 19 Posted September 19 When I did my factory tour before buying my Oliver, they had an Elite II that had flipped and was being repaired. They told me the owners had towed it to Oliver for the repairs. 4 2021 Elite II Twin Bed Hull #1023 - Kimba | 2025 Ford F-350 6.7 Diesel

srthomsen Posted September 19 Posted September 19 When we took delivery of our #1403 Elite in mid June of 2023 there was another Elite inside the gates that had been rolled and it was like looking at an absolute disaster. It did not disintegrate as a stick built would have but it was bad. The entire trailer was wrapped up up in plastic. We were told that the guy had dropped his cell phone and was reaching to retrieve it. 5 2023 Elite #1403--2019 Ford F150--2.7 Ecoboost V6--10 speed auto--without Max Tow
Zodd Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Surprising to hear of 3 of these incidents when they have only made ~1700. Still only a .17% rate but they tow so well. Context on why is helpful, as reaching down for a phone while towing and losing control has very little to do with the trailer. 3 Todd & Kat 2023 LE ll twin, hull # 1305, Truma AC & WH, Platinum solar, Natures Head 2024 Ford F250 Lariat 7.3L gasser / 3.75, FX4
Patriot Posted September 23 Posted September 23 (edited) Even without any details of how this occurred, its clear Olivers are built pretty tough. Interesting to see that it appears that even the windows survived. Any other SOB stick built would likely be just a trailer frame left. 🤔 Our hopes are that no one was injured. If I remember correctly, the one we heard about on our tour had been side swiped in Texas. We were told that the owners then towed it to Hohenwald for repairs. 2021 Elite II Twin Bed Hull #1023 - Kimba | 2025 Ford F-350 6.7 Diesel
