  1. Hey, our's was not brand new and it was still really special 😉 Welcome to the clan!
  2. On our radar and happens to hit at the tail end of our first, months-long trip south, for winter. Hoping timing will work out and it allows us to make our first Oliver rally!
  3. Depends how you define that. If it is all about the number of units sold, probably, but a lower price point will normally do that. The casita interior has never really been appealing for me.
  4. Another option that does not require this. Just use a funnel to poor the required amount of bleach/NCI into the hose (while holding it up right of course). Then connect the hose to the port and start running the water.
  5. We love Glacier. My wife and I try to go up each year at the end of May and ride our eBikes (see this is where I am not as hardcore as you) up going-to-the-sun road when it is closed to traffic. Avalanche Lake is one of the prettiest hikes around. Weather caused us to devert this year.
  6. We are in the area as well (north Idaho). All for hiking. I had my go at mountain biking Moab a few years back, and that is when I realized I was not really a mountain biker (slickrock kicked my butt) 😄 We are on the younger side of ownership as well (pre-retirement but hitting empty-nester years).
  7. Hehe. Fair enough. This is actually made for RVs, Fiberglass and aircraft. But to your point, we also have a carpet runner down the middle 🙂
  8. As @Ronbrink and @Galileo stated. We have a small rechargeable handheld vacuum that we use every couple of days to pick up most of the dirt. After that, a quick wipe down with a cloth sprayed with "Wash and Wax All" keeps things clean. So far, it's working well for us. If anything stubborn remains, we use a little toothbrush or a Q-tip to tackle it, for us this has been rare.
  9. Interested in hearing about your Anderson testing. We have an F250 with the 7.3 without the Anderson and have been towing it around Idaho, Utah, Montana, and into Banff. It has worked great! I have very much appreciated the extra payload and stability when going down the steep grades.
  10. It is so nice when campgrounds are this well thought out 😉
  11. I wonder what the "deck/wall" starts to look like after years of people walking on it. Can you screen that wall area at all when that is down? If not, I don't see myself keeping my wall open while camping.
  12. This is my thought as well. I have really liked having a TT that fits exactly where my TV is and does not hangout wider.
  13. Not that it would cause a problem, but just that it would not get all the way off the ground.
  14. @Boudicca908 The trailer-aid has worked well for you to get the off tire off the ground? I had heard reports that, given the Oliver suspension and axle spacing, lifting the other wheel off the ground was questionable.
  15. That is a great-looking camper. The enhanced layout space, windows, dry bath, and larger frig, will draw a lot of people in. We love our Oliver, but this is the first fiberglass competitor that would have been in the running.
  16. I recommend reading this thread. While the hard reboot wasn't the ultimate solution, you should check the end of the thread for information about changing settings on the inverter. I agree that it's more of a temporary workaround than a true fix. I experienced a similar issue when running my microwave on battery power, and it seems to affect only certain recent model years. You didn't mention your OTT's year and model, so I'm not sure if you're included in that range.
  17. In case anyone wants a nice little guide on how to do these adjustments with the Girard awning. Not our exact model but still works the same.
  18. What microwave do you have that allows it to run on batteries? I have never managed to get mine to work without tripping the inverter. I own the Hightouch Convection Microwave.
  19. hehe, well now @jd1923 you are just trying to make me sound really lazy 😉 The absence of a cord is really convenient, but when I need to wake up at 5 AM for a work call, I try to be quiet so I don’t disturb my wife. This becomes challenging when I have to open and close the door. So far, I've been using the AC adapter and turning the inverter on and off as needed. I'm considering options that don't require the inverter to be operational, so I can keep it running continuously. Still trying to weigh cost/effort/reward. So far using AC adapter has been fine and I have never been short on power.
  20. I like the idea but it has a couple challenges for me. 1- Most of those do not have a low power shutoff. So if you forget to unplug it you may kill your battery. A direct connection to the TT batteries avoid this. 2- This leads to the challenge of having to go outside to turn it off. Not so fun when warm inside and ready for bed and you remember it is still on. 3- Even with low power shutoff if you have to wake up early in the morning to get some work done you have to jump outside and switch the battery out. I am leaning more toward something like this. About the same cost but still has cables and some manual labor to get wired in. A little lower cost and a little less setup with no need to switch inverter on and off. https://a.co/d/03RI49lb
  21. Ah nice. Thanks for the clarification. I missed that part.
  22. It depends on your plan. Starlink recently changed its roaming plans, now you can't use it while in motion. I love Starlink, but when will their plans stabilize? They still change them every six months.
  23. We have never used the remote. The Oliver is not that big, and it feels like more work to get the remote and point it in the right direction than just stand up, take 1-2 steps, and use the panel.
  24. Nice! If you are an AI fan (trust but verify 🙂 ) you can use AI to search and summarize for you as well.
  25. For those that don’t want or know how to set this up locally You can also do a google search of just the forms natively with google by starting your search with the forum URL like this. “https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums tire pressure”
