  1. I like the idea but it seems that just looking at this picture with my tired eyes; there are as many pivot points as with the OE set-up. Maybe more.
  2. 2019 F-150, 2.7 ecoboost, 10 spd trans, 2whl drive, elite #1403
  3. If you run the palm of your hand over the tread area can you feel somewhat regularly spaced areas that seem to be lower (cupped) than areas adjacent? If so then I would suspect a worn or defective shock absorber (damper) or an extremely unbalanced tire/wheel assembly. This does not address the somewhat uniform tread wear around the outside edge of the tire. If you can, grab a level that is at least as long as the tire is tall and place it vertically against the tire aligned along an axis that travels through the centerline of the wheel hub. Does the 'level' check indicate if the top of the tire is leaning out or in? If, to achieve a level (plumb) reading, you have to bring the bottom of the level out away from the trailer then that likely signifies that the axle or spindle is bent along the vertical axis for what ever reason. This would concentrate wear around the outer edge of the tire. A worn or loose bearing assembly would typically show wear aong the inner edge of the tire. Another possibility is that the axle or spindle is bent along the horizontal axis and that could show as increased or abnormal tread wear at either the inner or outer tread area around the circumference however this type of wear will likely add another measure of wear to the tread that usually presents itself by exhibiting a feathering of the tread blocks. Now that said; as other have mentioned, check your wheel bearings and have the rig aligned by a professional. Sorry for the long read!
  4. We were up in that area (Cayucos) in October for 7 days. So. it wasn't us! 2023 Elite # 1403
  5. 2023 Elite 1403 is equipped with the black tank flush setup.
  6. That is a possibility however I'm going to wait to see what Truma will do as far as furnishing a or some replacements.
  7. That is / was my first thought too. It will likely be what I use when I get the replacement "O" ring(s).
  8. Elite #1403 new as of June 15, 2023 Equipped with the complete Truma package. We have not had our #1403 out in any freezing weather but the Truma hot water heater has a small leak near the bottom of the filter housing outlet behind the yellow lever on the left side of the unit. I removed the filter screen housing and found that the device seals within the housing with two "O" rings. The outermost "O" ring appears to have 'rolled' in its groove upon initial installation from either truma or Oliver. The "O" ring is deformed and needs to be replaced. Have any of you had this issue? Oliver informed & ticket submitted.
  9. Similar situations happened sometimes on the railroad that I retired from. Using chains or straps it is extremely dangerous. I did see one man get his arm nearly ripped out of his shoulder socket by a strap that had not been inspected. It had an area that had been pinched that had been deep enough to cut into the inner core of the strap. He was not standing far enough out of the line-of-fire.
  10. The fact that you experienced that difficulty removing the old rivets attests to the robustness (is that a word?) of the OEM construction.
  11. This is one that I puchased a couple of years ago. Works great. I think that it's a bit louder than advertised and it's not a lightweight! I use it with propane fuel. I am going to build a collapsible box with sound deadening material to fit around it for use on the road. I bought it on sale at Costco for $599.00 Dual Fuel Inverter Portable Generator 4000W Electric Start with CO ALE – FIRMAN Power Equipment
