Can anyone recommend a campground or RV park within 30 minutes or so of Wilmington NC?

We're going to be at Huntington Beach SP next week Oct 30-Nov 4.  We want to go north to Wilmington for 2-3 days to visit some old dear friends.  We've been there previously several times, but never camped.  I've found several campground/RV parks around Hampstead, Topsail, Surf City. Can anyone recommend one? I'm trying to stay within a 30 min drive of their place in NE Wilmington.

Great Place to stay, Great Tour of the facility, Great products for sale there.

While Dover, DL is relatively close to Wilmington, DL - it is a fair distance away from Wilmington, NC and Huntington Beach State Park.  I'm guessing that R &P were looking for places nearer to the North Carolina place.😉

While I'm not familiar with any of those campgrounds (other than Myrtle Beach SC) I am familiar with the general regions that you traveled.

Certainly it looks to me like you really did a great job.  Hope that you had a bunch of fun!
