Trainman Posted December 5, 2022 Share Posted December 5, 2022 Is the correct Anderson ball height 22 1/2" to the top of the ball, this is with a 500 lb. load on the rear bumper of my RAM to get this height measurement. Elite II trailer is the trailer in tow. trainman 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears. Oliver was sold. Elite II trailer is the trailer in tow. That’s about right. If I remember, my ball is just under 24” with no load. It drops about 1.5” when the trailer is lowered. It looks right from a distance. Tomorrow, I will be picking our trailer up for a trip starting Friday and will measure again for you.
