Coach and JoJo
I went to my covered storage facility last week and took my Honda 2200i generator to charge up my AG batteries. I noticed the Surge protector showed an Error code 9. Everything was working, including my batteries charged back to full. Any thoughts?
Hokieman
It seems to be normal, unless it does not change to E0. See snip from Manual below. 1 2 “Ramble” - 2021 Legacy Elite II #797; 2020 Ford F-
Moderators mossemi Posted December 23, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2022 Are you using a generator bonding plug in your generator? Mossey Mike and Krunch Lutz, FL 2017 LEII #193 “the dog house”

Moderators mossemi Posted December 23, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2022 The Honda’s require a neutral/ground bonding plug that is inserted into the generator outlet that is not supplying power to the trailer. Search YouTube for Mike Sokol. He has some valuable information. Mossey 2 Mike and Krunch Lutz, FL 2017 LEII #193 “the dog house”

I think it is. You said in your first post that your batteries were fully charged by the generator. It won’t do that unless you have a bonding plug. Next time you hook up the generator, if your code is not reading E0, try turning off the main AC breaker to see if it doesn’t reset. I’m guessing the system is operating normally. 1 1 “Ramble” - 2021 Legacy Elite II #797; 2020 Ford F-
