Furnace shut off when tilted

Recommended Posts

For the first time our Dometic furnace shut down unexpectedly. It was running fine until I dumped our tanks this morning. After turning the thermostat off, then on again, it resumed operation. I did tilt the trailer nose high to dump. Wondering if the tilt caused an overheat or some other issue that shut down the furnace. Everything else seems normal, propane full, etc. Anyone else experience this?

That shouldn’t happen due to tilt, make sure you don’t have a nest in the outside. Do you have covers on them?

Check the 12 volt fuses, all of them, to make sure the “ears” are gripping tightly, a loose connection can cause intermittent issues.
