Ty J Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Has anyone though about a deck plate access cover for valves? Having to lift our heavy bed every time since we have a large mattress seems like a great idea? Has anyone installed? 2021 Elite 2. Anyone know what brands oliver is carrying? Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted May 31, 2023 Moderator+ Posted May 31, 2023 You think it's hard with the regular beds, try it with the raised beds. Back in 2015 while sitting out in the AZ desert on my first long boondocking trip, I didn't think of a deck plate, still too much trouble, but of installing motorized valves. All the valves move in concert, flip a switch one way--Boondocking Aux Fill, Flip it back--Normal operation. Don't leave home without it. 5 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved dogs Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4
Cameron Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 I think I need some education on this. Motorized valves? Is there a post on this already? 2021 Elite II #841, 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4, 3.0 diesel

Ty J Posted June 1, 2023 Author Posted June 1, 2023 I ordered motorized valve for fresh train. Looks awesome. Thanks for input. We will have to see. Six back surgeries do not oblige to lifting darn bed everytime want to change the valve config. Do lots of boondocking will have to see on water situation and grey black. Already ran out of room on black last trip!. Thanks everyone. 1 2021 Legacy II Hull #728 Pulled by 2015 Toyota Tundra 5.7 with 6.6 bed with Decked pullout. 300 Watt Bouge cigs flat solar. dual 30# propane tanks w/GasStop safety devices and Mopeka tank sensors, Victron Multiplus II 12volt., 400 x Battleborn Batteries ,Victron SmartShunt, Victron cerbo and screen. 2 x Victron Smart solar 100/30 and 1 x Smart solar 100 x 15. 800 watts ground panels.
