Moderators SeaDawg Posted November 11, 2014 Moderators Posted November 11, 2014 Hello, all, If you've recently had trouble logging in (and staying logged in), as i did, here's something you might try. Clear your browser cache, and try again. Or try logging in from a different web browser. We've seen problems this week with Mozilla Firefox, and google chrome. Sorry for any incomvenience. Moderators SeaDawg Posted November 11, 2014 Author Moderators Posted November 11, 2014 Thanks for all your help, Mountainborn. Probably some software glitch, as well, that affects certain browsers. This will probably clear itself up when a routine update of the board software is done. (I hope) For whoever asked, To clear cache in google chrome, go to history, (control h at the main google screen) and select the grey box "clear browsing data" and follow instructions. I'd recommend that you only use the four top boxes checked. Don't clear out your licenses, etc., in the bottom four. routlaw Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Likewise I have not been able to log in completely for several days using Safari on a Mac. But today I was able to clear cache's by clicking on the Develop menu, then scroll down to Empty Cache. I also went into Preferences > Privacy > Then click on the Details button for Remove All Website Data, scroll down to all Oliver Data, click remove. Back in business. Hope this helps for those using a Mac/Safari. Legacy Elite II #70
trumpetguy Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Clearing the history seems to have solved the problem in Safari. Apple does not allow you to clear the cache on an ipad unless you plug in to a desk top. Typical Apple. hellsbay Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 For anyone with a MAC, this is very easy. Just click on Sarari at the top left and and in the drop down menu pick reset Safari. Check the first two boxes and hit reset. Done.
