  1. Hi Pam, I just recieved a TWITTER from the technomads last evening. They just boarded a cruise ship bound for the Bahama's and will be "out of pocket" for a few days.
  2. Tanning Beds, Lifesavers and Stripper poles, Oh, geeze ! This thread is gona' be one of those like the hot tub thread was !! The last I heard of that thread, the hot tub was filled with hot pink foamy bubbles and some fat ol' guy was wearing a camo thong while twirling on the stripper pole !
  3. Are you intrested in the 17' or the 22' ? Different prices, ect.. Your best bet is to call Robert at the factory and get him to spec one out for your camping style. That way you will have a exact price. Then there is the base modle, the sport, with less frills.
  4. Someone over on Casita Club recently called our spare tire cover a giant lifesaver, and I can't remember where the term stripper pole was actually coined. But we generally accept the stripper pole term in our posts on here. I wonder if the lifesaver term will catch on ? Will the new 22'er have similar catchy nomenclature ? Got any cool labels you might like to offer up for our enjoyment ?
  5. This link has much statistical data about Lake Greeson: http://www.lakegreeson.org/
  6. This link has good directions to the Kirby Landing Campground area, from both Hot Springs and from Texarkana. Just scroll down to KIRBY LANDING: http://www.arkansasstripers.com/lake-greeson.htm
  7. Although most molded fiberglass travel trailers share some design characteristics, a closer look will sperate them. I have been to the Oliver factory a number of times for one thing and another, and have never heard mention of anyone's previous affiliation with Burro. Betty and I will be at the factory next week to get a couple of scheduled upgrades, and will try to remember to ask about folks previously with Burro. Welcome to the Oliver Forums. We hope you enjoy your stay here. There are lots of photos posted on these forums and they might give you a better idea about similiarities between Oliver and Burro.
  8. Moderator Note: Deleted the double post
  9. Though I have heard much about it, we have never been there. It is on our "just gotta' see" list.
  10. Yes, you are right, there is so much to see. That is one reason we took the hosting job in Colorado. It is an area of the State that we just want to see more of. We will spend every spare minute prowling those Rocky Mountains in the area. Is your book available online ?
  11. During a phone call today, I learned that the forum moderators will be recieving a PDF specifications file for the 22'er soon.
  12. Welcome to the Oliver Forums OffTo France !!
  13. Hey Chuck, since we have sewing Susan's sunshade on the way, we are intrested in this. Do you know if it is available at RV dealers ?
  14. Several forums members have taken or been given photos that were taken by other forums members that have visited the factory in Hohenwald. Let's see if we can gather them up here on this single thread so that anyone that has an intrest in the 22, can get a better look at it before it is officially unveiled at the Quartzite Rally in the near future. So, how about it, lets see your 22' pix ! Remember, just click on a photo to enlarge it !
  15. Welcome to the Oiver Forums OB1 !! Man, oh man, you guys don't mess around ! You sure know how to getter' done !
