  1. Hello gang. Had a fabulous weekend of ski racing in Hailey Idaho. Happy to share I de-winterized successfully and the Truma worked perfectly. I’ve never decalcified the Truma as I only run Bull Run (Portland’s ridiculously pure water supply) water through it. Thank you to everyone for your help and suggestions.
  2. I did learn that the Black Tank Flush line has a check valve that requires one to pump hard to get antifreeze past it.
  3. In answer to your "stupid" questions LOL I checked for sufficient propane - had 2 nearly full tanks Water temp was same in bath as in kitchen. Went from normal hot to lukewarm after about 20 seconds. I did not test in Eco. I had it on Comfort the entire time I let the water run for about 30 seconds and it continued to be lukewarm. I didn't reboot using your procedure. I simply turned it off inside and out, then waited before turning back on outside before turning it back on inside. I've never put it in Clean/Decalcify mode. Is it possible it could got there on it's own?
  4. It turns out that both shower faucets were closed, so that's not the cause of my lukewarm water. Any other ideas? I leave for Sun Valley Idaho Thursday morning and it will be 15 degrees at night, so would like my hot water back. Also, does anyone know where I might find Winterizing specifically for an 2018 Elite I? I've attempted to follow the video for the Elite II, but am never confident I've got all the valves configured correctly. Got antifreeze to interior faucets and toilet, and a dribble to outside shower, but when I attempted to fill the Black Tank Flush line, it seemed to not go in. Much of the antifreeze squirted out where the hose connects to the Ollie. Thoughts?
  5. Thank you Steve. I will check my outside shower, despite thinking I always keep those off. I'll let you know what I find.
  6. This weekend my Truma did something weird. It produced hot water as usual, however after a few seconds the temperature would drop to luke warm and stay there until I turned water off and back on. When it came back on it would be hot for a few seconds but return to luke warm. There were no error codes happening, so no idea what's going on. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you,Duane
  7. All is well. Thank you all for your help. I got everything connected properly and now have power for my trip this evening to Bend Oregon where it’s about 10 degrees. Getting the terminal bolts in with all the cables is certainly a bear. Glad I won’t be doing that again soon.
  8. After talking to the people I bought the batteries from, I learned that I didn't put it back together as it had been, despite my efforts to be careful to note how the originals had been wired. I connected positive to positive (parallel, 6V system), when I should have connected positive to negative to create a 12V system in series. Thank you all for your help. I will correct this when I get home from work tonight, and let you know if all is well after making this change.
  9. Can they be checked while connected to the Ollie or do I need to unbolt them first?
  10. Yes I saw that but the wing wasn’t out.
  11. You mentioned a 300 amp breaker. I only saw a 30 amp along with 4 - 20 amps under a black removable panel under dinette. When I removed the seat cushion and hatch, I didn’t see anything that looked like a circuit breaker, just the power inverter. am I missing something?
  12. Welp seems none of the circuit breakers had popped. Now what? Did I fail to tighten the bolts enough? Should I take a torque wrench to them?
  13. Yes. I have an Elite I so I’m figuring my circuit breaker is under the dinette cushion. I went to great lengths to ensure positive bridge cable went to positive terminals and 4 or so negative cables went to each of the negative terminals
  14. Thank you. I’ll try that and let you know how that goes.
  15. I just installed new Lifeline AGM batteries and found no power inside trailer. Beyond properly connecting positive and negative, is there anything I need to reset inside to allow new batteries to power the system?
  16. Thank you Bugeyedriver. I found online suppliers require purchase of 4-6 batteries to avoid $360 shipping charges, or they were sold out of the ones I need. I found a very local place that has several pallets full of the Lifelines that I’m replacing at about $70 less per battery than the online places. picking them up tomorrow. Duane
  17. I live in Portland Oregon and need to get 2 new AGM Batteries for my 2018 Elite. Who should I buy them from? Store? Online? Oliver?
  18. Thank you SeaDawg and TopGun2. You two are why I love owning an Oliver. I will follow your suggestions and report back.
  19. Last night our toilet slowly filled with water by itself. Thankfully we caught it before it overflowed. This afternoon there was water at the base for no apparent reason. I visually inspected the hose connections and the foot pedal mechanism, and see no evidence of a leak or problem. Any ideas as to why and how to fix are appreciated. Duane and Donna
  20. Thank you all for you ideas. I will try hair dryer first. It is below freezing here and it could be moisture got on the threads. Next I'll try a better penetrating lube spray with wrenches and hammer. If those don't work, I'll get the axle socket at Napa. I'll let you know how it goes. Duane
  21. Anyone know a reliable way to unstick the knurled knob that holds the spare tire cover on? I put lube on exposed threads and use a rubber mallet on the knob without success. A few months ago I have removed it and reinstalled with no problem. Probably should have put lube on threads at that time, but didn't. Thank you for your help. I need the spare now as I have a flat I cannot repair. Duane Smelser
  22. Yippee!!! New camera installed and working perfectly. Thank you for all your help. Could not have done it without you.
  23. Any idea where the plug is that converts the camera wire to a red black positive/negative wire? Also, what kind of adhesive is used to glue insulation back up?
