  1. Patriot, Thanks for the info. I've never worked with rivets before. So you need to drill them out with a hand drill? What size bit do you use? I've got a 2021 LE2 and about 3 out of 6 are bad.
  2. I lost the round porthole cover on the front propane cover. It must have not been seated correctly. Where can I get a replacement? Thanks
  3. I have one under cabinet touch light that goes from dim to on but never goes off. And one that never goes on. I love these lights but they seem to be sketchy. I hope they are easy to replace. I will try once the weather warms up.
  4. I'm having the same problem. I've check everything mentioned above. The level of antifreeze in the jug never goes down. I remember having this problem last year and I solved it by raising the AF jug onto the bumper. This is not working this time. Even when I raise it as high as the 3 foot hose allows.
  5. I have used all the force I can muster with two hands. I'll have my son who is much stronger try it.
  6. They are brand new and were sealed with the blue stopper not to mention inside the aluminum bumper. I'm not sure how they are going to loosen up if I can't use them. Is it ok to spray some WD40 in it?
  7. Yes the valve on the Oliver must be closed before the collar can go back. When the male connector is inserted the collar should snap forward. This works fine on the front port but not the back. Are these fittings finicky … is there something I can do to make it work? I hope to be able to use the back port.
  8. I bought this hose to connect my Blackstone stove to the LP quick connects. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V57J9BB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I can get the male quick connect to secure in the front quick connect on the Oliver but not the rear one. No matter how hard I wrestle with it, the collar won't seat in the forward position. Any suggestions?
  9. No time for Amazon, no luck at home Depot or Northern tool.
  10. I recently picked up #757 and I'm in an RV park in Fort Myers, FL. Does anyone know where I can get an LP quick connect plug? I thought one or two should have been included. It came with 3 water quick connects but nothing for LP.
  11. I booked us for 5 nights in E29. We are picking up our LEII in March. We're also looking forward to meeting other Ollie owners and seeing all the creative upgrades.
  12. What section of the park should I make my reservation?
  13. I'll be picking up our new LE2 in March so my build sheet is due soon. I don't have any experience with towing an RV so I'm not sure if I need the Andersen No-Sway Hitch. My tow vehicle will be an F150 with the max tow package. It's an $800 upgrade but if it improves the driving experience and/or safety I'll get it. Opinions are welcome.
  14. Here's another interesting test:
  15. Good points. The weight is about 500 lbs more and I didn't catch that the fuel tank is smaller.
  16. I've got one of the 600,000 refundable preorders in for the cyber truck. I'll wait for the final version of the truck before I decide to buy it. If I do buy it, it would be for my daily driver because I don't think it would make a good long haul tow vehicle especially to remote areas. It will take Tesla a couple years to fill all the preorders so I could always sell it if I don't like it. I drive a model 3 now which I love.
  17. Perfect ... We were hoping to see Key West and this will make it easy. Thanks for the tip.
  18. I hear you about the first generation ... I'm still on the fence. But I'm not finding a good deal on a used or 2020 model with the features I want.
  19. I actually made reservations months ago at an RV park in Fort Myers. I figured that it could become a problem being Florida in March and less people flying due to covid. So we will spend the time learning our new rig and playing golf and pickleball in our spare time. Come spring and summer I see state and national parks in our future along with some boondocking.
  20. We'll probably make a couple long trips (1000+ miles) and a half dozen short trips (500 miles or less) per year from the Milwaukee area. No destination is out of the question.
  21. My wife Janine and I will be picking up our new LEII in March. We are new to RVing so this forum has been a great resource. We look forward to meeting other owners at future rallies. Our first trip will be a couple nights at Davy Crocket followed by a couple weeks in FL. I hope to do a fair amount of boondocking in the future. On another subject, I’m about to order a 2021 F150 with the ecoboost 3.5 engine as my tow vehicle. I figured that I didn’t need the powerboost hybrid because I will be using this truck mainly for highway driving. However I just noticed that the hybrid is only $1900 more and includes a 2.4kW onboard generator so I’m now leaning toward the powerboost. There is an option for 7.2kW but this seems to be overkill for our needs. Any opinions would be welcome. Bob
