  1. We had an infestation of tiny bugs this spring while camping near a creek…seemed like millions of these tiny critters. I grabbed my hand held vacuum and sucked them up, it worked like a charm. I did empty it outside. My husband came in later and let another batch of them in, his solution was to smear them to death with his dirty t-shirt. The next morning our trailer looked like a crime scene with bloody bug guts smeared all over our white interior. Needless to say, he is no longer in charge of pest control… unless it’s a snake!
  2. Just as a point of reference the 20 lb propane tank has about 5 gals of propane. 1 gal of propane will burn 92,000 BTU’s. So if your furnace, water heater and frig are totaling 30,000 BTU’s then 1 gal will run those units for about 3 hours. With approx. 5 gal in a 20 lb tank you have about 15 hours of propane per tank. Your tanks could have been full and you just had a high BTU burn.
  3. We met Marsha this fall while camping at Lake Watauga Dam in Tennessee. She still owns her Oliver and could be contacted through her veterinarian practice.
  4. I’ve been searching for a solution to my shoe storage problem. I found this sea grass basket at Target and it was perfect. It will hold my shoes, it’s flexible, it’s versatile and it fits under the table.
  5. We have started listening to Empire of The Summer Moon: Quannah Parker and The Comanche Indians, The Most Powerful Tribe In America. Being from Oklahoma and having lived in Texas for many years it’s a fascinating account of the Indian tribes and their history. Our last long drive was over eight hours and we weren’t ready to stop! if you are driving through Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas or New Mexico it’s a great book.
  6. We choose the KTT mattresses and are very happy with them. Two years ago we switched our home mattress from a temperpedic to an organic latex mattress and we loved it. Latex is a natural product and environmentally friendly, it doesn’t off gas, it is mold resistant, it is extremely durable ( some research claims it will last 20+ years), and it is dust and mite resistant, and very supportive. I have severe allergies and I did do extensive research on latex mattresses. My husband says he sleeps better in the Oliver than he does at home!
  7. Thanks for the review. I purchased the system.
