I've also ordered from my local shop the same seals and I'll see what turns up.

Too bad Amazon played the "Bait and Switch" game - that sucks.  I found TIMKEN's at our local auto supply last week - they had two sets in stock and ordered the other 2 which came the next day.

Wire brushed the drums real good yesterday, painted them high-temp silver, R&R'd the grease seals...  piece of mind - all good again!  HA!

Using a Victron Bluetooth shunt to see the rate of charge. Don’t have enough Bluetooth range to monitor while towing,

We're getting about the same charge reading from the Victron smart shunt when the Tundra's at idle - haven't tried the app while towing yet.  From what you're saying, we probably won't get a signal unless I make Diane ride in the pickup's bed... HA!

  3. We love Buc-ee's!  I bought about 60lbs of ice at the Denton, TX store for my daughter's wedding last November, had to pick up a few bags of Beaver Nuggets, too!  Nicest people there for sure and for certain.  Not to mention the cleanest restrooms in the USofA...

  4. SLIDING WINDOW QUESTION:

Does anyone have difficulty sliding the windows open/close?  Ours take 2 hands to slide open/closed, is there a maintenance tip/hack to get them sliding easier?  (We've removed/replaced the plastic window glaze and cleaned out weep holes and tracks)

Our dogs sleep well between the beds.

We put the Lagun tabletop in the down ("puppy position") as we prep for Ollie-slumber time... But Magnus hasn't figured out (yet) that the tabletop is his designated sleeping area - he's still curling up at my feet!

    I meant I don't know if these are 24 v or 12v panels. I am assuming they are 12v.

Another way I've looked at the system's performance capacity is with the equation, Max Power (Volts) x Max. Power Current (Amps) = Peak Power (Watts).  From Mossey's pic, that would be:  18.5 Volts x 8.7 Amps = 160.1 Watts Peak Power per panel

So for Ollies with these Zamps, theoretically, the solar system performance under ideal conditions is 320.2 Watts going into the solar charge controller (minus any nominal DC line loss between the panels and the controller)...

My question is, does anyone know if OTT has looked at using panels with micro-inverters integrated at the panel?

  7. FYI:  We've been ogling (if that's a word) over Ollies for many years now...  We were camping at a remote area in Pagosa Springs, CO in July 2021 had our first Oliver sighting.

We were randomly assigned a site near an Oliver.  As it turned out, the owners were colleagues and dear friends I had worked with over a decade ago - a small world story...  They gave us the walk-through and systems indoctrination.  Who knew we would be Oliver owners by now?  Well, I guess we knew it would happen eventually, HA!

They owned Hull #727, the commercial plane my friend's dad flew back in the day - very cool!
