  1. Well, Stan, we would certainly be interested since they haven't started ours yet.
  2. Welcome to an "Elite" group. We toured the factory on February 18 (Wednesday) and by the end of that same week decided to go ahead and get in line for a Legacy Elite II. Our delivery date is in June and we can hardly wait. We also have a Casita that we'll be selling. It's served us well, but we're ready for our Oliver. Be sure to report back on how your visit to the factory went. Marsha
  3. Thanks for the info, Gary and David. We also use command hooks in our Casita. In fact, we had the Casita factory leave off all baskets, hooks and towel bar when we ordered it 5+ years ago, mostly because it was kind of tacky looking. We're having the king bed in our Oliver, so we won't have a nightstand for an extra outlet, but we are having one put near the street side in the bed area. Not sure yet where yet (also for a CPAP). Gary - are you going to Alaska soon? We're picking up our Oliver in June and then a week or two later we're headed to Alaska via Glacier NP. Marsha
  4. Where are you having the additional clothes hooks installed? We're still waiting to hear from Oliver as to when production starts, so insight from new owners is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
  5. I would highly encourage a visit to the factory. Definitely worth the time; in fact we spent almost an entire day there talking and touring the factory. Needless to say, after touring the factory there was only one outcome - we pick up our Oliver in early June.
  6. When we were at Glacier this past summer we took a day trip up to Waterton Lakes from Two Medicine Campground and there was no wait at that border. This was mid-August. That's the way we plan to head when we take our Alaska trip this coming summer.
  7. Congratulations. Looking forward to your pictures.
  8. We're planning a trip to Alaska one month after we pick up, so this topic is of interest to us. We just ordered mud flaps/splash guards for our truck; hopefully that will help. We do travel quite extensively on gravel roads so we have some dings in the gel coat on our Casita, but nothing you would notice unless you were washing/waxing. Kinda like your car/truck.
  9. We're leaning toward the standard floor plan, but would like to see one made up as a bed. Does anyone have the standard floor plan and would they be willing to take a picture, maybe standing in the bathroom to get the best view of the entire setup? The only completed Oliver we saw at the showroom the other day was the twin bed setup and it sure made the interior look roomy. We're wondering if the standard floor plan would make the living space appear too crowded. We are both retired and have started taking long trips. Alaska is on our schedule for this upcoming summer and it sure would be nice to know for sure we're choosing the right model for us. Thanks in advance. Ed and Marsha
  10. Well, we had a tour of the Oliver production facility a couple days ago and what can I say . . . you can't see what goes into the build without wanting one. We will be the proud owners of a Legacy Elite II as of June 3, 2015. We can barely contain our excitement, and I guess we don't have to. Sherry - you missed visiting the best great lakes state - Michigan! Actually, I'm originally from Wisconsin and Ed is originally from Massachusetts.
  11. Hi - my husband and I currently own a 2010 Casita SD17, but now that we're both retired and spending more time on the road, the Oliver Legacy Elite II is really appealing to us. I've sent for a brochure and price list, next step is to visit the factory. We went from a Scamp 13 to the Casita and when we were looking to upgrade the Scamp what drew us to the Casita was the king-sized bed. We didn't get the model that had that because when we went to see that particular model the Casita looked like it was all bed and no living space. It seems the Oliver Legacy Elite II solves that problem, plus the fit and finish looks first class. We're both looking forward to being part of the Oliver community. Ed and Marsha
