  1. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Will check further and report back.
  2. Everything else is working as it should. We’ll have to wait until we get home to check further. Fortunately for us after 11 years of ownership we know how long we can go between dumps and fills. Battery monitoring can be done manually until we get this figured out.
  3. This thread was very helpful to us. We’re in a National Forest campground and powered up the inverter and there was no power to all the outlets except the microwave so that’s where I had to plug in my cpap. Did a search on the forum this morning and voila - problem solved. It was the gfi. Thanks to all who contribute to the Oliver knowledge base.
  4. Our tank monitor is not giving any readings, including battery level. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Some background info, we were in for service at the end of April and the tanks read prior to the service. One service issue was a replacement water heater and I’m wondering if something got knocked loose somewhere between hulls. Unfortunately for us our pickup from Service was on a Friday close to closing time and they couldn’t get out fast enough so we didn’t find the problem until later in the day. We were able to stop in on Monday afternoon and one of the service techs took a look at it and even tried a new monitor panel, but no success. The tech did mention a possible pulled wire somewhere but they didn’t have the time in their schedule that day to find a fix. If there’s an easy fix/solution we’d like to try that before we haul it down to Hohenwald.
  5. That’s exactly what the problem was. Thank you so much. We’re back in business after having spent the better part of two days trying to solve this.
  6. Another mosquito magnet here. The campground at Watson Lake, Yukon Territory was the worse for mosquitoes. This was my setup. The older, dark green Thermacell I set on the right side of the steps going into the Oliver and never had a mosquito get inside. The Repel spray works great if you have to leave the Thermacell shield of protection to go for a walk or otherwise leave the campsite. The severity of the mosquitoes depends on the weather. When we went to Alaska in 2016 they weren’t that bad except in wet, rainy heavily wooded campgrounds, but it pays to be prepared.
  7. Hull #85 2015 LE 2. In August 2018 we had to take our Oliver back to the factory because three welds on the rear bumper failed. The factory replaced the rear bumper at that time, added some gussets on the frame and repaired welds that needed attention. One of the cross beam welds does currently have a small crack. Definitely something to monitor.
  8. Back in our Casita days there was a Facebook group that ruled the same way. I think some of the same people are now Oliver owners and moderating the Oliver page. They need to lighten up.
  9. A larger refrigerator. I would forego the microwave for that.
  10. The Native American Chief who wasn’t Native American? But I get the idea. We were at the Grand Canyon a couple weeks ago and a car full of young men pulled up along side my car and one jumped out with a couple half full disposable plastic drink cups and since he didn’t immediately find the opening to the dumpster he just threw them on the ground. I got out to say something but they just looked at me and laughed and drove off. 😡
  11. I’ve used an O2 Cool fan for quite a few years. Works on batteries or electric. https://o2cool.com/product/10-battery-and-electric-powered-fin-fan/ You can get them just about anywhere.
  12. We installed it just prior to putting it away for the winter. I’ll post an update once we get a chance to use it.
  13. We leave everything in during the Michigan winter, including the mattress. Prior to getting the Froli system for the bed, we did put the mattresses on their side, and a couple buckets of Damp Rid helps.
  14. We live in the country and park our Oliver on our property under a CalMark cover. The only mouse intrusion we’ve had is in the spare tire cover or the bumper. No damage. You should be fine parking it at the farm.
  15. That’s the one that came on our Oliver. My only complaint is the caps broke off the control knobs, otherwise it does the job.
