  1. The axle label includes "nev-r-adjust"......does that mean this axle does not include "nev-r-lube"? Confusing. Does the 2022 have both
  2. Off topic. What area of Wisconsin? Door County here...
  3. Thanks for the explanation! If I understand correctly it is very possibe (likely) I have "nev-r-lube" axles AND "nev-r-adjust" brakes. Yes?
  4. Alcan confirmed with Dexter...
  5. My 2022 has Nev-r-adjust...not Nev-r-lube axles.
  6. I should added to my previous post that my maintence/service (or lack there of) has been based on Owner Manual statement that my Oliver has "nev-r-lube" axles; now I need to find out what "lube" has been missed by the miss-information.
  7. Alcan now agrees that I 5200 lb axles the same as a couple of you also stated so. Thanks. A follow-up question. Alcan points out based on my axle label states that I have "nev-r-adjust" Dexter axle NOT "nev-r-lube" Dexter axles as the 2022 Oliver Legacy Elite II Owners Manual state are on the 2022 trailers. Is one "better" than the other? Should I be concerned that my 2022 Legacy Elite II does not have the "nev-r-lube" axle as the Owners Manual states? Does the question of "nev-r-adjust" vs "nev-r-lube" have any bearing on my decision to have Alcan leaf springs install. Thanks in advance...
  8. I contact Alcan to upgrade/replace my Oliver springs. They replied and asked do I want to also upgrade my axles to 5200 lbs. Why would/should I do that?
  9. So...does D52 mean a 5200 lb axle?
  10. Greetings, We are going to be at Oliver Home in September for some fiberglass repair for a couple days. Seeking recommendations for a nearby (within 25 miles) Bed & Breakfast to stay at while service is being completed. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks.
  11. John You also have a 2022 Oliver yet tou installed new springs. Others suggested replacement not necessary on 2022. Yours thoughts would be great. Thanks.
  12. Thanks. Any guess on the cost to have Alcan install the Alcan 5500 lb leaf springs? I plan to be in Colorado in September. Any advice as to what to include in my conversation when I call them to order the service?
  13. If I read this correctly my 2022 Elite II would have 5200 lb axle. My axle are 3500 lb; what am I missing?
  14. Having read so much about broken springs and the potential benefit of installing better(?) ALCAN springs I have decided to "consider" such an upgrade to my Oliver. However the garage I built for year-round storage of the Oliver has very limited door clearance when backing in; just two inches. Question. After having the ALCAN springs installed with the additional spring does the overall height of the Oliver increase? If so, how much? I have revised my building three times now since having purchased three different trailers until the Oliver and I can not revise the door clearance any more so this is a critical question. Thanks.
  15. Yup, thats what was the problem...air leak. Thanks all.
  16. Update. The draw from the boondock port is there, but very very weak. I put the Oliver back in normal use water use and added water to the fresh water tank. Then when I check the pump and water pressure to the two sinks the pump ran normal and very well. Went back to boondock setup and tried to draw water in back port. Again the draw from the back boondock port was very very weak. Is something blocking the line from the back boondock port to the pump...maybe?
  17. I am attempting to draw bleach water into my boondock port to clean the tank. I have done this several times over the past few years. However today the port is not drawing water. I am sure (I think) I have all things set up correctly. The pump sounds normal. The port was working (and entire water system) upon return in April. The Oliver was stored in a heated building since our return. So what may I be missing? Any thoughts on checking the system. Is there a need/way to prime the pump? Thanks.
  18. Checkout Bowlus trailers
  19. I recently completed yet another replacement of one of the touch-enabled LED lights...again. This the fourth one I have had to replace and the others are fickle as to how one must touch them to turn on and off. Of course many of you know the hassle of having to drill out and replace the rivets. Why rivets? So I seek input on two options to at least reduce the pain of the touch-enabled LED lights...or make it go away. Option 1. Has anyone replaced the existing bloody rivets system with screws or pass-through small bolts with washers & nuts? The small bolt option would require counter-sinking/boring space for the upper nut and washer...but doable. Going forward when the lights fail again the rivet hassle will be gone. Option 2. Replace all the touch-enabled LED lights with 12v lights with individual switches. No more fickle on and off light touches...just an on and off switch on each light. Has anyone done this or considered this option? (I thought that Oliver Inc was considering this option at one time.) Does anyone have a recommendation of a replacement light that would work for such a change? Please share your thoughts as to the feasibility of either or both options. (Did I mention that I do not like the Oliver provided touch-enabled LED lights and/or the use of rivets to install them?) Thanks
  20. Thanks for all the replies. However I realize that the replies have been about (since I was not clear in my first message) the cover edge when it is the lower compartment edge that the cover sits on that I am referring to. My error. There is a soft seal that is on the compartment edge....similar to a door seal. Mine is in bad shape and I need to replace. So...has any replaced the lower seal and with what?
  21. Looks good. I assume it has been a secure tight for you. How long have have you had it applied? Do you use any glue? Thanks
  22. Where have others purchased a replacement for the propane storage compartment cover seal? Any recommendations of brand, source and/or installation? Thanks.
