  1. Hello. I have a 2024 F150 Lariat Powerboost hybrid. I bought the hybrid to get the 7.2kW generator with the 30amp plug in the bed. I have not yet used the 30 Amp setup, but have used the 20 Amp outlets in generator mode. It's a bit quirky - you need to leave the truck "on" for the generator to power the outlets. It's not smart enough to turn off the radio and it stays bluetooth connected to my phone. I've used it to power a portable refrigerator (IceCo). It's probably good to leave the AC on in the summer, as the cab gets hot trying to keep the inverter cool. I get between 9 & 10 miles/gal when towing the Legacy Elite 2. Wind direction affects mileage quite a bit. This is not much better mileage than I got with my 2006 Nissan Titan with a V8. Even when not towing the trailer, the mileage is probably about the same as you'd get with a regular V6 Ecoboost - probably due to the added battery weight. It doesn't run on pure battery very often. Only at really low speed on flat ground or downhill. Again, I didn't buy it for hybrid driving reasons - I wanted the big generator and 30Amp capability. I believe the Powerboost ONLY comes in the 5.5ft bed and crew cab, independent of the trim line. This is why there are no 6.5ft beds on dealer lots. I've had it 7 mo so far and like it. It is loaded with tech (most of which I don't need), but I really wanted ventilated seats. I'll post more once we've used the 30Amps for boondocking.
  2. Thanks for the responses. If this is how the good/expensive ones perform, I can't imagine how bad the poor/cheap ones work. I'll consider reaching out to SeaLevel.
  3. On 2 recent trips, I have filled the fresh tank from city water, probably 3 or 4 times. The monitor only reads 19 and then jumps to 38 & never goes higher. I fill it till over flowing, an it has been filled on relatively level ground or tongue down. I really don't recall if it worked well or differently before paying attention these times. Any idea what could be the cause?
  4. Thanks both for the quick reply. The valves are all in the "normal" positions. I'll ran the water pump, turned the city water back on & opened the fresh tank drain. Water drained for a short while & stopped. Water flow in the camper is normal (from city water). Monitor shows 13% in fresh, but nothing more coming out. Thanks again. Seems like something quirky.
  5. I sanitized yesterday. Fresh tank very near empty during today's travel. Had Fresh Tank drain valve closed overnight & on todays 5hr drive . Connected to city water during setup. Water flowed as expected in camper. Opened Fresh Tank valve to ensure tank totally empty. About 30 min after setup, sitting for a beer & heard water. It was coming out Fresh tank drain (not overflow). Closed Fresh drain valve & flow stopped. Turned off city supply. Monitor shows Fresh Tank at 19 - not sure what it was before this & monitor hasn't been very reliable in the past. Will city flow to Fresh tank if City Input check valve fails?
  6. Newby here. I was plugged in to a 15A outlet in a driveway. I set Xantrex 3000 setting #28 to 15A (tried several others as well), but could not get the inverter to charge the 390Ahr lithium batteries. If I unplugged the 15A shore power for a couple minutes & plugged back in, the inverter would show charging battery on initialization, but then went to bypass. EMS showed something like 125V, 1 or 2A 60hz and E0 (no errors). I had no loads on. Tried several combinations; but only the solar was charging the batteries. Should the Xantrex charge the batteries from 15A shore power? Batteries were dead in morning & I had to operate jack by hand. A/C was never operated.
  7. I'm a newby. Where's the 30 amp fuse you refer to? I don't believe I have a DC master switch. We have a 2022 LE2 with Xantrex 3000 and the 390Ah batteries (3 units).
  8. Have any Elite-II owners experienced campsite limitations due to the 23.5' length of the trailer? Is this something to think about/manage? Or is it a non-issue?
  9. Thanks for the quick responses.
  10. Does the Elite II have electric trailer brakes? If so, do you use a brake controller in the tow vehicle?
