Tony and Rhonda Posted Tuesday at 12:48 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:48 AM I've been searching the forum and the Oliver videos but I can't find instructions for lowering the television. Would someone point me to the instructions or video. Or just explain it to me. Dennis and Melissa Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM (edited) Push up on the part of the tv closest to the back window. Then it should drop down as you release pressure Edited Tuesday at 03:56 AM by Dennis and Melissa 6 2024 OLEII - Hull MDIV, born 3/13/24 Ram 1500 5.7L 8 cyl hemi, 4wd, max tow, air shocks, 6’4” box, crew cab
Tony and Rhonda Posted Tuesday at 02:13 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 02:13 PM Thanks @Dennis and Melissa, that worked. Guess I was overthinking it. The screen doesn't hang vertical due to pull from the cables. Is there a way to lock it vertical or do I need to pull slack in the cables? Is there a way to lock it vertical or do I need to pull slack in the cables? I expect you can carefully adjust the cables to create enough slack to enable the TV to hang vertically. My cables do not restrict the TV from dropping to vertical, but it still hangs on the bracket several degrees out of plumb. I cut a length of smooth 1x2 lumber to serve as a prop to hold the screen vertical. I store the prop in the attic above the TV. 1 Hull #1291 Central Idaho 2022 Elite II Tow Vehicle: 2019 Tundra Double Cab 4x4, 5.7L with tow package

Since we typically watch the TV while "seated" in bed (we have the twins), I thought that was a FEATURE not a BUG. 🤣 2024 OLEII - Hull MDIV, born 3/13/24 Ram 1500 5.7L 8 cyl hemi, 4wd, max tow, air shocks, 6’4” box, crew cab
